“No Cravings is the name of a supplement against sugar cravings,” says manager Sarah Ver Elst. “I started developing it when I was looking for a solution for my craving for sugar and the excess weight that resulted from it. It was important to me that it would be a product made exclusively from natural ingredients. After tinkering with the formula for a while, that worked out well. No Cravings is produced here in Genk as a soluble powder. So you have to drink it, and that makes it easy for users to take the supplement.”

Sarah is proud of her product. “Indeed, because No Cravings is much more than a means to eliminate the craving for sugar. It is beneficial for people with type 1 diabetes, Crohn’s disease or difficult bowel movements. We also see that there are customers who are recovering from cancer and take No Cravings to absorb extra vitamins and minerals and thus provide an energy boost.”

The product is aimed at a broad sales market. “Our customers are both men and women, ranging in age from 25 to 80 years… Basically anyone who wants to work on their health.”

Sarah is ambitious with No Cravings: “We mainly sell through our webshop, but we have also started with points of sale, mainly in pharmacies. And there are more products to come. The second development is Go Burn, a substance that binds to fats during digestion, causing the fats to be less absorbed by the body.” And possibly more people will be added if there is further success? “For now it’s all ‘Me, Myself and I,’ but I’m surrounded by good people. For example, I work with Maxime Stans, who helps me with marketing. And yes, who knows… If we won the award on Tuesday, maybe the train has left for good?”
