**Interview with Karan Ojla: The Shoe Incident at His Concert in London**
**Editor:** Karan, thank you for joining us today. Let’s talk about your recent concert in London where you faced an unexpected incident. Can you walk us through what happened when you got hit with a shoe during your performance?
**Karan Ojla:** Thank you for having me. Yeah, it was quite a shocking moment for sure. I was in the middle of my performance, and suddenly, a shoe came flying at me. I was taken aback by it. I reacted out of anger because, honestly, it felt disrespectful to me and my art.
**Editor:** You famously returned the shoe to the audience and even called out the person involved. What motivated that response?
**Karan Ojla:** I believe in facing issues head-on. If someone has a problem with my music, they should be able to address it directly. Hiding in the crowd and throwing something feels cowardly to me. I wanted to challenge the person to express their thoughts rather than resort to such actions.
**Editor:** After the incident, security removed the individual who threw the shoe and you continued performing. How did you manage to regain your composure?
**Karan Ojla:** The support from my fans helped a lot. I reminded myself that I was there for them and not to let one person’s negative action spoil the show. I focused on delivering a great performance and the energy from my loyal fans brought me back.
**Editor:** You’ve announced a series of live concerts across India following this incident. Do you think this event will change the atmosphere of your upcoming concerts or how you engage with your fans?
**Karan Ojla:** I hope it doesn’t. Every artist faces challenges, but I believe in maintaining a positive space for my fans. That being said, it has reminded me to be more vigilant during performances and to always be ready for anything.
**Editor:** this incident raises a broader question about audience behavior at concerts. How do you believe such incidents reflect on the entertainment industry?
**Karan Ojla:** It’s a concern, honestly. Artists pour their hearts into their music, and we deserve respect from our audience. That said, it opens a discussion about boundaries—where does the line blur between passion and disrespect? I think it’s vital for fans to remember that we are human too.
**Editor:** Thank you, Karan. Now, we turn to our readers: Do you think audience members crossing the line at live performances is becoming a trend? How should artists and venues respond to such behavior? Let us know your thoughts!
