The Aegean International Short Film Festival “Theodoros Angelopoulos” returns with its fourth edition to the garden of the Polycentric Conference Center of Aegean.
Counting already three successful events, the festival that has placed Western Greece on the map of major film events, comes in June 2025 with surprises and guests
After the shock of the loss of the Mayor of Aegialia, Dimitris Kalogeropoulos, a man who believed in and supported the festival with all his might, planning has begun under the guidance of the Mayor, Mr. Panagiotis Andriopoulos and the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Sports, Mr. Giorgos Frankonikolopoulos.
The festival invites creators from all over the world to enter the International Fiction Short Film Competition, the International Documentary Short Film Competition, the International Animation Short Film Competition, as well as students at Greek film schools to submit their films them in National Student!

Films completed after January 1, 2023 are accepted in the International sections, the submission fee per film is €7 with a maximum film length of 30 minutes in the fiction and animation sections and 40 minutes in the Documentary section.
In the National section, fiction, documentary, experimental and animation films completed after January 1, 2023 with a maximum duration of 20 minutes are accepted.
