Donald Trump was elected as the President of the United States for the second time. Two hundred and ninety five electoral votes were obtained out of five hundred and thirty eight electoral votes. Kamala Harris received 226 electoral votes. Trump also won four of seven swing states. A majority was also found in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Results of gubernatorial elections are still awaited in 11 US states.

On the other hand, the Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, conceded defeat in the American presidential election.
