Indonesian badminton women’s SINGLES, Putri Kusuma Wardani, succeeded in winning the 2024 Korea Masters tournament.
Putri KW beat the resistance of Chinese player Han Qian Xi with a final score of 21-14 and 21-14 at Iksan Gymnasium, Sunday (10/11).
“Of course, first of all, I would like to say thank you, Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to be able to return to the highest podium at the Korea Masters,” said Putri in a PBSI statement, Sunday (10/11).

On the way to the final match, Putri admitted that she didn’t think much about it. This is necessary to relieve tension before the match.
Putri also said that she had previously met Han Qian Xi. He considered that the Chinese representative was a typical player who was difficult to beat.
“In the previous two finals, I actually did that but there were still feelings of tension and so on, today everything went as I wanted,” he said.

Furthermore, Putri said that the results of winning the 2024 Korea Masters were dedicated to her family who always supported her.
“This title is for the family who always supports, the closest people who never tire of giving support, for my coach and the women’s singles sector. Don’t forget to also thank PBSI,” he said.
In another match, Indonesian mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja had to lose to the Chinese pair, Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui. Dejan/Gloria lost 21-10 and 21-12. (Z-1)
