Young singer Jojo Gautama presents his third single, Oh Mama (I Will Always Be There For You), which is a special project in his career.
At the age of 13, working with renowned Indonesian producer, Nutyas Surya Gumilang (NSG), Jojo not only wrote and sang this song, but also took on the role of producer, director and editor of the video clip.
The video clip Oh Mama (I will always be there for you) tells the true story of Jojo’s friends, highlighting their inspiring experiences.
Cleo Haura, who plays Wati in Dylan’s 1983 film Wo Ai Ni, shares her journey through cyberbullying with the extraordinary support of her mother.
Nakeisha Syifa, 2024 Hijab Hunt Champion, also expressed the warmth of her mother’s love and support in her journey to achieve her dream of becoming a professional singer.
Kanaya Tsabitah, who plays little Tyas in Siksa Hell, a cancer survivor, also described her mother’s extraordinary strength in trying to heal her.
The lyrics of the song Oh Mama (I will always be there for you) are straightforward and true from a pre-teen who wants to describe his love for his mother.
The repetitive part of the chorus, “Oh mama, oh mama, oh mama, I love you so…” is very easy to remember and sing. A son’s promise to his mother, “I will always be there for you” became the tagline in this song.
In the second verse, Jojo expresses his admiration for his mother by describing his mother as MVP (Most Valuable Player).
Jojo jokingly compares Mother’s strength to Hercules.
Through pleasant melodies and simple lyrics typical of Gen Z, Jojo invites everyone to remember how important a mother’s role is and invites them to show their love for mothers. (Z-1)
