Google has announced some new features for its popular service Maps.
The company announced that it is making it easier for users to discover important places and helpful lists related to the Maps community.
This feature will initially be introduced in select cities in the US and Canada.
Google said that when you search on Maps in these cities, you will be able to see lists related to recommendations.
The trending list in Google Maps will also be updated on a weekly basis and the places that people like the most will be placed at the top.
Google Maps is also introducing a new feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
With this feature, users will be able to better understand the details posted by the Maps community thanks to AI.
For example, while searching for a hotel in Maps, when the images of the dishes available there are scrolled, the names of the dishes and their prices will be told by the AI.
Google is also redesigning the Maps app on mobile devices and reducing the number of tabs on the home screen.
The company said that the home screen will look better in the near future while new pin colors are also being introduced.
Google has not yet released a glimpse of the new design.
