Maruti Suzuki in India officially launched the new generation Suzuki Dzire. This entry level sedan has received a number of updates compared to the previous model.
Obtained from Transport And Financial ExpressTuesday (12/11), the Suzuki Dzire was not launched in Indonesia, but India. Apart from getting the Z petrol variant, the vehicle’s appearance has also changed completely!
The new Suzuki Dzire, which is the fourth generation, now looks fiercer thanks to its sharply slanted headlamps. Previously, the car used large and wide main lighting.

The grille is minimalist but contemporary, while the ‘S’ logo is installed in a central position with the hood line designed to connect to the headlights. This touch makes the new Suzuki Dzire look more modern.
The dimensions are almost unchanged, the length remains 3,955 mm and the width is 1,735 mm. However, the height has increased slightly from the original 1,515 mm to 1,525 mm. Then the ground clearance is still 163 mm.
The new Suzuki Dzire uses the same engine as the new generation Swift. The vehicle adopts a three-cylinder Z12E coded engine with 82 hp of power and 112 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the transmission is automatic and five-speed manual.
This urban car received a five-star rating during the crash test. There are several standard features that have been installed, namely six airbags, antilock braking system (ABS) with EBD, hill-hold assist, ESP, traction control, reverse parking sensors, rear defogger, seat belt reminder and others.
Then other features include a 9 inch entertainment touch screen, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 360 degree camera and smart keyless system. Apart from that, the new model also has a panoramic sunroof which was not available in the previous generation.
The new Suzuki Dzire is now available in the Z variant which complements the L and X variants. Meanwhile, there are seven colors, namely red, brown, blue, black, grey, white and silver.
