The Spanish airline, linked to tourism agencies, World2Fly, with several flights to Cuban airports, including Havana, reported the increase in flights to the Caribbean. More details immediately.
According to the specialized magazine Hosteltur, the airline World2Fly, belonging to the World2Meet Group, announced the incorporation of three new international routes for the summer of 2025, strengthening its presence in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.
Starting in June, the company will offer weekly flights from Madrid and Lisbon to three new destinations: La Romana, in the Dominican Republic; Mauritius Island; and Montego Bay, in Jamaica, thus expanding its offer of international routes from Barajas Airport.
World2Fly already had flights to popular Caribbean destinations such as Punta Cana and Santo Domingo from Madrid, as well as to Punta Cana from Lisbon.
The new route to La Romana adds to these, offering a third option in the Dominican Republic. Flights to La Romana will operate from June to October, with departures on Saturdays from Madrid and on Fridays from Lisbon.
As for Mauritius, flights will be available from June to September, with departures from Madrid every Tuesday. Finally, flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, will take off every Wednesday from Lisbon during the summer months.

These destinations are added to the list of World2Fly options that also include flights to Cancun (Mexico), Havana (Cuba), Zanzibar and Uzbekistan, routes that have strengthened the airline’s offer in the international travel market.
In addition, flights will continue to operate from Lisbon to other Caribbean destinations, such as Cancun, Cayo Coco and Varadero. In April, Santa Clara also joins.
With a total of 20 weekly direct flight frequencies during the high season, World2Fly and New Blue, its associated tour operator, have created the most complete offer on the market to the Caribbean, Mexico and Cuba.
According to Guillermo González Vallina, General Director of Distribution at W2M, this expansion responds to the company’s “diversification and consolidation” strategy in high-demand international destinations.

**Maria:** Thank you for having me! The introduction of these new routes by World2Fly is significant for travelers. It not only enhances connectivity from key cities like Madrid and Lisbon but also offers new options for those seeking vacation experiences in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mauritius. This expansion signals a growing interest in these destinations, especially as travel demand continues to rebound post-pandemic.
