A few words about the author Giorgos Ploumis:
George Nikolaou Ploumis was born in Patras in 1958, to teacher parents. He graduated in 1976 from the 1st Boys’ High School of Patras and entered
after exam tickets at the chemistry department of the University of Ioannina. He graduated in 1982. In 1990 he was appointed as a teacher in Secondary Education at Kythnos high school in the prefecture of Cyclades.
He served in many schools, high schools and high schools in the prefectures of Achaia, Cyclades, Ilia and Lasithi of Crete. During his service he attended many conferences and seminars such as Teacher Training and Professional Development, New Technologies and Secondary Education, The Role of Chemistry in Society and its Teaching in Secondary Education and many more.

He has also published many articles on Education in print and online.
Today he lives in Patras, is married and has two sons, Nikos and Lambros. He is retired and apart from writing, he enjoys hiking, reading and music.

**Giorgos Ploumis:** The primary themes revolve around mentorship, the struggles of youth, and the transformative power of knowledge. I delve into how the classroom can be a microcosm of life itself, reflecting broader societal issues and personal growth.
