“I still don’t get it. (…) I need a moment to understand what happened here. Despite everything, I think that we are all winners of this edition, because it was amazing, beautiful and, above all, there are amazing artists here, from whom I’m learning,” says the TTBZ winner in a conversation with Pomponik’s reporter.
Kuba Szyperski is embittered that the program has come to an end. Not only has he become friends with the show’s crew over the past few weeks, but its participants have become real friends. Let us remind you that the actor’s appearance in the show included Patricia Kazadi, Damian Kret, Reni Jusis, Joanna Osyda, Bartek Wrona, Barbara Wypych and Aleksander Sikora.
“I managed to establish a nice relationship with each of the participants. We are like the crew from the TV series Friends. Just eight people with huge hearts, an amazing sense of humor, great empathy. I don’t know what I will do now. I won’t see them every week? Is it over? – says Szyperski sadly.
Fortunately, the actor has a lot of responsibilities and is already going to work. He performs, among others, at the Variete Theater, where he is preparing the play “Rent” in the coming days.
“I dream of resting for a while and catching my breath, and then I will return to my theaters and play shows. The program is ending, but my work continues. Tomorrow I’m going to the Variete Theater,” invited Kuba Szyperski.

And the Golden Face Goes To… Kuba Szyperski!
Well, well, well! The curtains have closed on the 21st edition of “Your Face Sounds Familiar”, and what do we have? A yodeling champion in the form of Kuba Szyperski! Yes, folks, you heard it! Not only has he walked away with the top prize—a shiny golden face (perfect for the mantelpiece, if you ask me)—but also a staggering PLN 100,000! Now that’s what I call a win-win situation!
A Double Dose of Glory
Kuba didn’t just waltz into the spotlight; he rocketed in, grabbing the highest number of votes not once, but twice! Those episodic triumphs in the 3rd and 5th episodes really set the stage for his grand victory. Honestly, he must have been singing like a canary on caffeine!
Yodeling? In 2023?!
Now, let’s talk about style! During the final, Kuba decided to add a sprinkle of absurdity by unleashing his inner hillbilly with some good ol’ yodeling. Who would have thought that belting out “He Taught Me to Yodel” could land you a gold face? Fashion experts are on standby; should we expect yodeling to become the next big thing in haute couture?
The Heartbreak of Friendship
As the glitter of the finale fades, our dear Kuba expressed a twinge of disappointment. Can you believe it? There are no more rehearsals with his newfound “Friends” cast! Yes, according to him, they were a crew of “huge hearts”—a pretty spot-on description for a bunch of aspiring yodelers! It’s like a sitcom waiting to be made: “Yodel Friends: The Musical!” If only Ross could master the art of yodeling!
Looking Ahead
But fear not, dear readers! The show may be over, but Kuba’s schedule is chock-full. He’s returning to the stage at the Variete Theater to perform in “Rent.” Now that’s a musical with enough emotions to make even a stone-cold yodeler weep! He dreams of a brief respite, though, which, between us, sounds suspiciously like procrastination.
Final Thoughts
In the grand scheme of Polish television, Kuba Szyperski has not only taken home a golden face and money but also the hearts of viewers everywhere. In a world brimming with *Reality TV* talent shows, it’s the blend of eccentricity and genuine artistry that keeps us tuned in. Will yodeling endure? Will Kuba’s post-show journey be as entertaining as his time on stage? One thing’s for sure: the spotlight might dim, but the adventures are just beginning!
Stay tuned, folks, because if there’s one thing we learned, it’s that anything can happen when a golden face is involved. Can’t wait for Season 22, where I’m placing my bets on an opera-singing llama!
