Since it was launched, Gemini can only be accessed on iOS through the Google search app, in a tab located in the top menu. But it looks like that could change very soon, as an app dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) has been found on the App Store (and supports the Live feature).
As demonstrated by some Reddit users, in a sub-forum dedicated to Gemini, artificial intelligence should gain its own dedicated application soon; appearing in the iPhone app store for many users. Check out the captures:
The app page also highlights the presence of the Live feature, which allows real-time conversations with artificial intelligence. On Android, where Gemini is integrated into the Assistant, the function is not yet available.

**Interview with Tech Analyst Jane Richards on the Gemini AI App Launch**
**Editor:** Joining us today is tech analyst Jane Richards to discuss the recent development regarding Google’s Gemini AI. Jane, it looks like Gemini may soon have its own dedicated app for iOS. What are your initial thoughts on this change?
**Jane Richards:** It’s an exciting move for Google. Having a standalone Gemini app could significantly enhance user accessibility and engagement with AI. Currently, it’s somewhat buried within the Google search app, which limits its exposure.
**Editor:** You mentioned accessibility; how do you think this will impact users who are currently using Gemini through the Google search app?
**Jane Richards:** A dedicated app would make Gemini much more user-friendly, allowing for easier navigation and usage. Users will likely appreciate not having to dig through a menu to access AI features. Plus, the introduction of the Live feature for real-time conversations could change how people interact with AI on their devices.
**Editor:** Considering the growing popularity of AI-driven applications, do you think this move could create friction in the market, especially with competitors like Apple and Microsoft?
**Jane Richards:** Absolutely, it will provoke a competitive response. Both Apple and Microsoft are investing heavily in their AI capabilities. The introduction of a Gemini app could push them to accelerate their own developments. We could potentially see features that rival this Live interaction, which might lead to a race for user preference in AI tools.
**Editor:** That brings us to our readers. What do you think will be the public’s reaction to a standalone Gemini app? Are users ready to embrace this technology, or do you think there will be hesitance due to privacy concerns?
**Jane Richards:** That’s a pivotal point. While many will likely embrace the convenience and novelty of a dedicated AI app, there are always privacy concerns. Users are becoming more aware of how their data is used. It will be fascinating to see whether people prioritize functionality over privacy when deciding whether to download the app.
**Editor:** Thank you, Jane, for your insights. Readers, what do you think about the introduction of the Gemini AI app? Are you eager to engage with AI on a deeper level, or does the prospect of an AI dedicated app raise any red flags for you regarding privacy? Let’s open the floor for discussion!
