UFC 309 has officially been announced. Based on the official UFC website, the fight will be held at Madison Square Garden, New York, United States.
There are main fights that fill the list of duels at UFC 309, including Jon Jones, who will defend his UFC heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic.
Apart from that, at the UFC 309 co-main event there will be a rematch between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler.
In the main fight, Jon Jones is the best fighter in the heavyweight class who will defend his title in the same class against Stipe Miocic.
If one of these fighters withdraws, Tom Aspinal will officially be the reserve for the main fight at UFC 309.
Meanwhile, in the co main event, there was a rematch between Chandler and Oliviera, which Oliviera won via Technical Knockout (TKO) in the previous duel.
In the other main event on the UFC 309 roster, Bo Nickal takes on UFC middleweight veteran Paul Craig.
There is also former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman against Eryk Anders, the list of main fights is closed by female fighter, Viviane Araujo against Karine Silva in the women’s Flyweight class.
Another exciting duel, possibly taking place at UFC 308, a light-heavyweight class match between Nikita Krylov and Azamat Murzakanov, if Murzakanov wins it will put himself in the top 15.
In the next duel, in the welterweight class, Oban Elliott fights Bassil Hafez, another interesting fight takes place in the bantamweight class. Jonathan Martinez will face Marcus McGhee, McGhee is a promising newcomer to the UFC.
Apart from that, McGhee has a 3-0 record in the UFC, with a performance bonus in each match, if he can beat Martinez, McGhee will be able to rank and get a higher ranked opponent in the next match.
Until the final fight at UFC 309 brought together veterans Jim Miller and Damon Jackson in the lightweight class.
Miller is on a mission to bounce back after his loss to Bobby Green. The 41 year old fighter will have his 51st duel during his MMA career.
