**Interview with Sara Khan: Exploring New Roles and Personal Ventures**
**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us today, Sara. It’s great to see you back in the spotlight, especially with your new role in Hum TV’s ’Hum Tum’. What inspired you to take on a comedy role after focusing on more serious characters in the past?
**Sara Khan:** Thank you for having me! It’s been an exciting journey. When director Danish Nawaz approached me with this character, he believed in my capabilities in a comic role. I had never thought I could pull off comedy, but I felt challenged and wanted to prove that I could succeed in this genre.
**Interviewer:** That’s wonderful to hear! Your character in ‘Hum Tum’ seems to have a mix of humor and depth. How do you feel this role differs from your previous performances?
**Sara Khan:** Absolutely! In the past, I was often typecast in innocent or serious roles, which made me worried about exploring humor. However, with ‘Hum Tum’, I get to showcase a different side of myself. My character has this unique blend of dark humor, which I believe is quite relatable. It’s a fun challenge that allows me to experiment while still connecting with the audience.
**Interviewer:** You mentioned that you aim to challenge yourself with this role. How does it feel being back on set so soon after the birth of your daughter last year?
**Sara Khan:** It’s a balancing act, for sure! Being a mother has changed my perspective significantly. I’m more motivated to do what I love and to set a good example for my daughter. Every moment on set is special, and I can’t wait for her to watch my performances someday.
**Interviewer:** We’ve seen many actors transitioning into singing recently. Have you considered pursuing a singing career, especially with your husband Falak being a singer?
**Sara Khan:** We’ve had many opportunities to collaborate, but I believe acting and singing are different crafts. I enjoy my acting career and prefer to focus on that. Singing is wonderful, but it’s not something I see myself doing.
**Interviewer:** Speaking of your husband, you both share such lovely moments on social media. Why do you feel it’s important to showcase your love publicly?
**Sara Khan:** Love is a positive force, and I think it’s fantastic to share that with the world. We want to encourage others to embrace the love in their lives. My husband and I cherish our relationship, and expressing that publicly can inspire others to do the same.
**Interviewer:** Before we wrap up, you mentioned wanting to take on roles like an athlete or an action fighter. What drives that ambition?
**Sara Khan:** I believe it’s essential for actors to constantly evolve. I want to challenge myself with diverse roles that push the boundaries of my capabilities. An athlete or an action role would really allow me to explore physicality and bring something fresh to the audience.
**Interviewer:** We can’t wait to see what you do next, Sara. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us today!
**Sara Khan:** Thank you! It’s a pleasure to connect, and I hope everyone enjoys watching ’Hum Tum’ this Ramadan!
