First phase of Peshawar Zalmi talent hunt to find new and emerging cricketers from Friday Karachi I started.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi In the three-day talent hunt, cricketers from within Sindh also had trials on Saturday.
In the trials held at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy, Peshawar Zalmi President Inzamam-ul-Haq, Director of Cricket Muhammad Akram, Kamran Akmal, Rashid Latif, Shadab Kabir and Asim Kamal took the trials.
On the second day of the trials, there was a lot of commotion in the field, even in the heat, there were young people who had registered.
Inzamam-ul-Haq said that young cricketers from other cities of Sindh are very talented.
“I was very surprised that along with Karachi, Sindh also has the best batsmen. Youths from different districts gave excellent trials.’
He further said that Peshawar Zalmi is providing a platform for all the young cricketers of Pakistan to express their talents.
After the trials, the shortlist will conduct the children’s matches, and coach the best young cricketers.
From these trials, not only Peshawar Zalmi and PSL will get new talent but Pakistan domestic cricket will also benefit.
Zafar Iqbal Brohi from Shahdad Kot also registered for Peshawar Zalmi Talent Hunt. On being selected for the trials, Zafar told Independent Urdu that he was a farmer but the passion in his heart was to become a great cricketer and that determination drew him to the Peshawar Zalmi talent hunt.

As soon as he came to know about this event, he sold the goat for 15 thousand rupees while arranging money to travel and stay in Karachi.
According to right-arm fast bowler Iqbal, he has barely reached Karachi because he incurred a lot of expenses, but he doesn’t care because he has cleared the trials.
“I will try to go to Pakistan Super League after starting with Peshawar Zalmi talent hunt.
“I am very happy that the trials are being held under the supervision of legends, there are many talented guys here who have restored confidence in giving trials.”
Further selection will take place after the competition between the shortlisted players on the third and final day of the talent hunt on Sunday.
Peshawar Zalmi plans to organize such talent hunts in other cities like Karachi, where six teams of selected cricketers will be formed and a tournament will be held.
