As December approaches, a notable number of Netflix Originals are set to exit the platform, primarily due to the cessation of its interactive special library. This includes popular series like Voltron: Legendary Defender and Meteor Garden, which will bid farewell to viewers throughout the month.

On a positive note, our capacity to track and communicate Netflix Originals that are departing will improve significantly as we’ve been developing new tools to streamline this process. Recently, we highlighted over 90 Netflix Originals that are scheduled to exit the service by the end of 2025, providing subscribers with advanced notice.

20 Interactive Specials Leaving on December 1st

Earlier this week, we reported that Netflix will remove 20 of its interactive specials. Notably, two titles had already disappeared before December, leaving only four remaining after this significant cut. Among the most affected are DreamWorks animated specials, including the lively Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. One puzzling title among the removals is the WWE special Escape the Undertaker, reflecting Netflix’s shift away from interactive formats. With this purge, many original animated series will vanish without a trace, potentially leading to their classification as lost media.
