Dozens of candidates arrested for copying with blue tooth device in MD CAT

MD CAT exam is conducted for admission in medical colleges across the country. There is an entrance test for admission to medical colleges in various cities including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar in which thousands of students are participating.

In this regard, two days ago, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council clarified that the MD CAT exam will be held across the country on September 10, apart from this, there will be no other test, so the children who have registered for the test will Reach the respective examination centers.

The spokesperson of PMDC has to say in this regard that the MD CAT exam is being conducted simultaneously in 31 cities across the country, in which more than 180 thousand candidates are participating, while 382 students are taking the MD CAT exam in international centers. 185 candidates are giving the exam in International Center Dubai and 197 in Saudi Arabia.

The PMDC spokesperson said that 66875 candidates in Punjab, 40528 in Sindh, 46439 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 9230 in Balochistan are taking the MD CAT exam, besides 926 in Gilgit, 4036 in Azad Kashmir and 12118 in Islamabad. Candidates are giving MD CAT exam.

Officials of the Ministry of Education say that very strict security arrangements have been made at the examination centers for the MD CAT entry test and Section 144 has also been imposed at some examination centers.

On the other hand, the higher education department has failed the plan to hold the MD CAT test.

In this regard, the Secretary of Higher Education said that dozens of candidates copying from the blue tooth device have also been arrested.

The education secretary said that there was a tip-off about a clandestine group issuing the test via Bluetooth. It was reported that a group would help the students in the test using the Bluetooth devices. .
