According to a media report, Russian drones landed near the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Odessa late on Friday evening and caused a major fire there. The local Internet newspaper “Dumskaya” published images of buildings and cars in flames outside the city via Telegram. Russian attackers and Ukrainian defenders had previously fought heavy battles along the fronts in eastern Ukraine.
According to the General Staff in Kiev, a total of 114 Russian attacks were registered during the day. “The enemy is using all available forces and means to achieve its goals,” the army leadership said in its situation report on Facebook.
“The defense forces act professionally and efficiently and inflict significant losses on the enemy,” it said.
