Inoxtag announces having been the victim of two burglaries in six months

YouTuber Inoxtag: Two Burglaries and a Mountain Climb

Ah, the glamorous life of a YouTuber! Who knew that sharing your life online would also invite a cavalcade of intruders with a penchant for crowbars? Inoxtag, the YouTuber extraordinaire who has conquered Everest and topped the streaming charts, has recently had his personal space invaded in not one, but two rather cheeky burglaries within six months. It’s almost like a reality show plot twist, but slightly more sobering.

What Happened?

This past Wednesday, November 6, our unfortunate hero took to X (formerly known as Twitter — we don’t know what it is these days, do we?) to reassure his fans that he was alright. Though he might have lost some prized possessions, his sense of humor and ability to communicate with his audience remained intact. “Friends, everything is fine with me,” he declared, in what can only be described as the most optimistic response to unsolicited home improvements by burglars.

“Two burglaries in the space of 6 months. The first took place during my ascent of Everest, where almost my entire collection of sneakers and watches was stolen.”

Let’s break this down: the first burglary happened while he was scaling Everest. You know, a minor climb at over 8,800 meters! One can only imagine the burglars (allegedly) sat back and thought, “Hey, while he’s busy tiptoeing over glacial abysses, let’s nick his sneakers!” Priorities, eh? Now that’s the definition of hitting a low point — stealing shoes while someone’s on top of the world!

Burglary Chronicles – The Sequel

Fast forward to this month, and Inoxtag encountered “Burglary: The Sequel” right at his rented villa in Poissy. The audacity! With a crowbar as their trusty sidekick, these robbers thought they’d try a new tactic. But apparently, they were rather picky – they left most of his valuables behind. I guess even thieves have standards!

A police source has reported that the shady characters absconded with primarily computer equipment, leaving behind an estimated €10,000 worth of damage. That’s quite an expensive lesson on home security, isn’t it?

Taking Precautions

In response to the thievery, Inoxtag announced he would be placing his properties under surveillance. “I didn’t think it would come to this,” he lamented. Well, the burglars shattered his window and some semblance of privacy, that’s for sure! But hey, at least he’s not just sitting there twiddling his thumbs — unlike those cheeky thieves!

His social media followers have been quick on the reaction buttons, showering him with caring messages. After all, anyone who possesses a following of 8.69 million subscribers surely has friends in all the right (and perhaps some of the wrong) places!

The Adventurous Life of Inoxtag

On a brighter note, Inoxtag recently took audiences on a thrilling cinematic journey in his documentary “Kaizen: a year to climb Everest,” which not only managed impressive box office numbers but also racked up 37 million views online! Talk about a successful climb to the top!

In summary, while burglars may be out there undermining home security and snatching sneakers, Inoxtag continues to rise above it all. With a dog that’s happily guarding what little remains and an army of fans showing love, it seems that while the crown may be a bit heavier, so too are the burdens of fame.

Here’s to hoping he doesn’t have to add “security expert” to his résumé anytime soon!

YouTuber Inoxtag reacted on X, ex-Twitter, after being the victim of a burglary this Wednesday, November 6. He was also the victim of a first breakage earlier this year.

“Friends, everything is fine with me.” YouTuber Inoxtag, victim of a burglary this Wednesday, November 6, spoke to reassure his subscribers. He reveals that he was also robbed during his climb of Everest.

Two burglaries in six months

“Two burglaries in the space of 6 months. The first took place during my ascent of Everest, where almost my entire collection of sneakers and watches was stolen,” he specifies in a message published on X, formerly Twitter.

The second therefore took place yesterday evening in Poissy (Yvelines) in the afternoon. He did not live in this house, but rented it. “They broke down the window with a crowbar, after looking at everything this morning in peace they didn’t take anything important, I don’t know what exactly he was looking for,” he adds.

A police source told BFMTV that the burglars left with, essentially, computer equipment. In total, the amount of damage is estimated at around 10,000 euros.

Following this burglary, an investigation into burglary into a home was opened, the Versailles public prosecutor’s office confirmed to BFMTV. For its part, Inoxtag announced that it was “taking the necessary precautions to ensure that this does not happen again”.

“I’m going to put my house under surveillance”

“I didn’t think it would come to this, but I have to put my house under surveillance from today to ensure my safety and that of my loved ones. Thank you to the police officers for their rapid intervention, and thank you all for your messages,” he adds, while specifying that he, his loved ones and his dog “are doing well.”

The content creator, followed by 8.69 million subscribers on YouTube, indicates that he has received numerous messages from his fans. Last September, the 22-year-old released in cinemas and on YouTube Kaizen: a year to climb Everest, a documentary which retraces his journey to reach the highest peak in the world, more than 8,800 meters high.

The 2h26 film, which brought together 340,000 spectators in theaters and generated 37 million viewswas also broadcast on TF1. The documentary thus became the most viewed video in France in 24 hours. A success which earned him the congratulations of the boss of the platform.
