The Board of Directors (2th session) of the School of Preparation for Administrative Careers (EPCA) held Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Libreville, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Civil Service and Capacity Building, Louise Boukandou Moussavou, validated the modern training modules approved during the work of the scientific and educational council held on October 25.

“During this work, the entire organization of the training for the first year was thought out and therefore the administrators today gave discharge, they validated this organization; the Director General has all the levers to be able to work at least on the educational level”declared at the end of the council, Rodrigues Mikolo Banaka, Director General of the EPCA.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, the EPCA must receive 900 students admitted to the competition organized last May. These future administrators will each be trained according to their choice, in 11 sectors namely: diplomacy, work, school and university administration, health administration, parliamentary administration and administrative management, Treasury, Customs, Competition and consumption, Tax, economic and financial management.

Created in 1978, the large interministerial school, whose programs have been modernized for a more efficient administration, trains public employees in category A, A2 hierarchy. It also trains category B and C agents. The latter are scattered throughout all public administrations (Presidency of the Republic, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Interior, Finance, Health, Schools, Communities and other local authorities).
