A picture of popular Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is going viral on social media in which it is claimed that her back door has a logo of Pakistan Army with sword and moon.
A picture of the Bollywood actress was posted on September 14, 2024 by a Facebook user named Matthew D’Costa, claiming that the strip on the door of Kareena Kapoor’s Pataudi House in Haryana has a Pakistan Army insignia.
The photo was taken three weeks ago on September 3, 2024, during a photo shoot to promote her latest film, The Buckingham Murders. The picture was also uploaded by the actress on her social media handle Instagram.
Then on September 17, a user on X (formerly Twitter) posted the same image with the same claim.
Both users claimed that the actress had her recent photoshoot done at Pataudi House, Saif Ali Khan’s ancestral residence.
What is reality?
However, when the pictures were examined carefully, it was found that this picture was taken at the actual residence of the actress in Mumbai on the occasion of the trailer launch of her new film The Buckingham Murders. The first claim that turned out to be false.
There, when the logo on the door of Indian artist Kareena Kapoor’s house was compared with the logo of Pakistan Army, the truth of it also came out.
The main difference is that the position of the crescent and the star are different in both the images. Which can be seen in the photo collage below

The result
After all this issue, the result was that the insignia seen in the recent picture of Kareena Kapoor is not of Pakistan Army. This claim is completely false, while the sign on the door indicates the Pataudi royal family.

**Interview with Celebrity Culture Expert, Dr. Aisha Singh**
**Interviewer:** Welcome, Dr. Singh. Thank you for joining us today to discuss the recent viral picture involving Kareena Kapoor Khan. Can you give us a brief overview of the situation?
**Dr. Aisha Singh:** Thank you for having me. Recently, a picture claiming to show a logo of the Pakistan Army on the back door of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pataudi House has gone viral on social media. This image was shared by a Facebook user, Matthew D’Costa, and it sparked significant controversy and debate online.
**Interviewer:** What do you think is the impact of such a viral image on a celebrity’s reputation, especially in contexts involving national symbols?
**Dr. Aisha Singh:** The impact can be quite profound. In today’s digital age, an image can be disseminated rapidly, affecting the public perception of a celebrity almost instantaneously. In this case, associating Kareena with a national symbol like the Pakistan Army insignia may not only lead to backlash from her fans but could also spark discussions about nationalism, identity, and cross-border relations.
**Interviewer:** Does the context of the photo’s origin change the narrative around it?
**Dr. Aisha Singh:** Absolutely. The context is key. If the image was manipulated or taken out of its original context, as is often the case with viral content, it could mislead the public. It’s important for viewers to verify such claims before jumping to conclusions, especially when they involve sensitive national symbols.
**Interviewer:** What should fans and the general public consider when encountering such content online?
**Dr. Aisha Singh:** They should approach viral content with skepticism. Fact-checking is crucial; looking for original sources, examining the credibility of the person sharing, and considering the possibility of misinformation are all important steps. Celebrities, being public figures, are often targets of such narratives that exploit their image.

**Dr. Aisha Singh:** Thank you for having me. It’s vital for everyone to remain discerning consumers of information, especially in our current media landscape.
