**Editor:** Jake, congratulations on your team’s impressive ascent to No. 23 in the National Collegiate Golf Rankings! How does it feel to see the South Florida Bulls earn such recognition?
**Jake Peacock:** Thank you! It’s an incredible feeling to see our hard work pay off. We put in a lot of effort during the fall season, and this recognition is a testament to our teamwork and dedication. It motivates us to keep pushing as we head into the spring.
**Editor:** Speaking of hard work, you’ve had an outstanding individual performance this season, ranking No. 12. What do you attribute your success to?
**Jake Peacock:** A combination of factors, really. My coaches have been invaluable, helping me develop my skills and strategy on the course. Also, playing alongside my teammates pushes me to elevate my game. Our friendly competition leads to everyone improving.
**Editor:** You’ve had some impressive finishes, including two rounds of 64 and numerous birdies. What’s been the key to your strong performances?
**Jake Peacock:** Consistency is key. I’ve been focusing on my mental game, ensuring I stay calm and composed throughout my rounds. Plus, practicing my short game has paid off, leading to more birdies. I’ve just been trying to manage each shot carefully and play my own game rather than getting caught up in the moment.
**Editor:** The Bulls had a standout performance at the FAU Invitational. Can you describe that experience and how it felt to secure such a significant win?
