ISRAEL will receive greater support to carry out its barbaric actions in the occupied Palestinian territories if Donald Trump wins the 2024 United States Presidential Election. This is according to international relations observer Andrea Abdul Rahman Azzqy.
“Clearly, Israel will get much greater support for their campaign, not only on the issues of Palestine, Gaza, the West Bank and Hebron, but also Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran,” said Andrea in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/11 ).
“And several countries that Israel considers enemies are like Netanyahu’s campaign when they want to create Greater Israel,” said the Budi Luhur University academic.

According to Andrea, Trump is trying to gain the trust of US senators and politicians who support Jews.
Trump, according to Andrea, was faced with the Esther Policy. This policy essentially assumes that anyone who supports or is affiliated with supporting Palestinian independence or Hamas will be considered a terrorist and categorized as a terrorist or terrorist supporter.
“This is very worrying for Trump,” he said.

**Interview with Andrea Abdul Rahman Azzqy on U.S. Support for Israel in the 2024 Election**
**Host:** Welcome, Andrea Abdul Rahman Azzqy, international relations observer and academic at Budi Luhur University. Thank you for joining us today to discuss the implications of the upcoming U.S. presidential election on Israel and Palestine.
**Andrea:** Thank you for having me. It’s a crucial topic, especially given the current geopolitical climate.
**Host:** In your recent comments, you suggested that if Donald Trump wins the 2024 election, Israel would receive greater support for its actions in the occupied Palestinian territories. Can you elaborate on what you mean by that?
**Andrea:** Certainly. If Trump is re-elected, we can expect a significant increase in military and political support for Israel. This would not only affect Palestine, Gaza, and the West Bank, but also extend to Israel’s stances in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran—essentially reinforcing Netanyahu’s vision for a Greater Israel.
**Host:** It sounds like you believe Trump’s foreign policy would be quite aggressive towards neighboring countries. What do you think motivates this approach?
**Andrea:** Trump is strategically trying to solidify support among U.S. senators and politicians who back Israel. His administration’s past support for militaristic strategies has set a precedent that could be amplified if he returns to power. The perceived need to demonstrate unwavering allegiance to Israel may drive more confrontational policies.
**Host:** You’ve mentioned that local residents in Gaza feel disillusioned about the U.S. election’s potential impact on their situation. Why do you think that is?
**Andrea:** Many residents in Gaza believe that regardless of who wins the U.S. presidential election, their suffering will persist. They see the broader geopolitical dynamics and historically entrenched policies as obstacles to any meaningful change, leaving them skeptical about any candidate’s ability to alter their circumstances fundamentally.
**Host:** what message would you like to convey regarding the peace process in light of the upcoming election?
**Andrea:** It’s essential for both U.S. leaders and international observers to recognize that lasting peace can only be achieved through genuine dialogue and understanding of the political realities on the ground, rather than blanket support that overlooks the complexities and needs of the Palestinian people.
**Host:** Thank you, Andrea, for sharing your insights with us today. It’s a critical conversation as we head into the election season.
**Andrea:** Thank you for having me.
