RAMADAN is the ninth month in the Hijri calendar which is considered the most glorious month for Muslims.

This month, Muslims are required to observe fasting, namely refraining from eating, drinking and things that break the fast from dawn to sunset.

Fasting in the month of Ramadan is not only a matter of restraining hunger and thirst, but also controlling lust, increasing piety, and increasing acts of worship, such as praying, reading the Qur’an, and giving alms.

In the month of Ramadan, Muslims also carry out special activities, such as Tarawih, and at the end of the month, there is the Eid al-Fitr celebration which marks the end of the month of fasting.

Apart from that, Ramadan is also a time to increase closeness to Allah SWT and strengthen ties between people.

At the end of this year, Muslims throughout Indonesia and even the world are waiting for the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 2025.

For Ramadan 2025 the schedule will be earlier than the previous year. In 2024 the holy month of Ramadan will fall on March 11.

Based on the date and calendar entries, Ramadan 2025 or 1446 H is expected to fall on March 2 2025.

If it is true that this date is the first day of Ramadan 2025, then it is only four months away from November 2024.

In fact, to count down from now until the holy month of Ramadan 2025 there are 125 days left. (Z-12)
