Emerging actor Azaan Aswad Haroon has claimed that famous actress Nazish Jahangir not only extorted money from him but also took his car and tortured him by pretending to introduce him in the showbiz industry.
In an interview to Urdu Point, Aswad Haroon said that a few years ago, he did a telefilm with Nazish Jahangir for the first time, after which they became friends.
He said that at the same time, Nazish Jahangir gave him the illusion of introducing him in showbiz under big TV channels and good drama and started extorting money from him.
Aswad Haroon claimed that Nazish Jehangir first demanded Rs 15 lakh from him and later more money while the actress kept asking him for expensive gifts and asking him to get expensive things.
He alleged that later Nazish Jahangir asked him for a car under pretext and he gave the actress a Honda car worth Rs.
According to him, Nazish Jahangir used to ask him for air tickets sometimes to Dubai, sometimes to London and sometimes to Lahore and Karachi and he kept giving them everything by trusting him blindly.
He said that after a long time, when he was not introduced in showbiz, he demanded the return of the money from the actress, on which the actress called him to a farm house, where several armed men took him hostage. He subjected them to torture.
According to Aswad Haroon, he was rescued from the farmhouse by his managers and driver, after which he registered a fraud case against Nazish Jahangir at the Defense C police station, in which the money and vehicle were also mentioned.
It should be noted that the news came out last week that the Sessions Court of Lahore canceled the bail of Nazish Jahangir for not appearing in the court in a fraud case.
Despite the news of a fraud case against her and accusations leveled by rising actor Aswad Haroon, the actress has not released any statement yet.

**Interview with Azaan Aswad Haroon on Allegations Against Nazish Jahangir**
**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us, Azaan. Can you share what led to your allegations against Nazish Jahangir?
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** Thank you for having me. It all started a few years back when I worked with Nazish on a telefilm. We were just starting out, and I considered her a friend. Initially, everything seemed fine, but things took a turn when she asked to borrow money and my car. She promised to return them within two months, but that promise was never fulfilled.
**Interviewer:** You mentioned you were friends. Did you feel misled or betrayed by her actions?
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** Absolutely. I felt a strong sense of betrayal. I was under the impression that she was genuinely interested in helping me navigate the industry, but it seems that was just a facade. The emotional distress from being extorted has been overwhelming.
**Interviewer:** You also mentioned torture in your statement. Can you elaborate on what you meant by that?
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** The emotional turmoil was significant. She made me feel like I was being introduced to the showbiz world, only to later realize it was manipulation to extract money and resources from me. It was mentally exhausting and very disheartening.
**Interviewer:** The bail for Nazish Jahangir was recently dismissed. What are your thoughts on this development?
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** It’s a relief to see that the system is taking these allegations seriously. I hope this serves as a lesson not just for her but for others in the industry as well. Trust and integrity are essential, and we must create an environment where such behavior isn’t tolerated.
**Interviewer:** what do you hope for moving forward from this situation?
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** I hope for justice, of course, but I also want to use this experience to raise awareness about the importance of protecting oneself in the industry. No one should have to go through what I did, and I want to ensure that aspiring artists are cautious and informed.
**Interviewer:** Thank you for sharing your story with us, Azaan. We appreciate your openness and wish you the best moving forward.
**Azaan Aswad Haroon:** Thank you for giving me this platform.
