Dominik TARCZYŃSKI, PiS candidate for president? • Everything that’s most important

Who will win the 2025 presidential election? Who is running as the PiS candidate in the 2025 presidential elections? It is not known yet, but Dominik TARCZYŃSKI joined the group fighting for the nomination of the PiS Political Committee with a bang.

Who is Dominik TARCZYŃSKI?

.Dominik TARCZYŃSKI he was a member of the Sejm of the 8th and 9th terms (he started from a distant 11th place), since 2020 he has been a member of the European Parliament from Law and Justice. In 2011, he co-founded Solidarna Polska, from which he left in 2014. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the Catholic University of Lublin. Dominik TARCZYŃSKI As a MEP of the 9th term, he was a member of the International Trade Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee. He also served in the Delegation for Relations with the United States.

Social media indicate his excellent relations with Republicans in the US, which he translated during Donald Trump’s rally in Salem, Virginia, into great shots that were perfect for the election campaign – this time in Poland.

Dominik TARCZYŃSKI “radical candidate” for the President of the Republic of Poland?

.In 2015, reporting on the threat from Muslims during a meeting of the European Union Committee, Dominik TARCZYŃSKI stated: “Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but every terrorist is a Muslim.”

After the Black Protest, when Monika Wielichowska argued from the podium that women did not fold their umbrellas, Dominik TARCZYŃSKI he commented on it with the words: “They put their brains together.”

[…] These people [opozycja] they have to pay. Those who manipulate and attack are people who inherited the practice from the Security Service. Words Dominik TARCZYŃSKI left-liberal media commented as an example of a “quasi-Darwinistic approach that draws dividing fissures along the lines of interpretation of history”.

PiS candidates for the President of the Republic of Poland plus Dominik TARCZYŃSKI

.Who will be the PiS candidate in the 2025 presidential elections will be chosen by the PiS Political Committee, with the dominant opinion of the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński. By the decision of the PiS leader, Law and Justice decided not to organize primary elections. Primary elections were also abandoned in PO and Confederation, the only party considering organizing primary elections is the Left.

We will find out who will be the PiS candidate in the presidential elections at the turn of 2024 and 2025. Election committees have time to nominate candidates until March 2025. The politicians who are closest to the nomination for the title of PiS candidate in the 2025 presidential elections are: Karol NAWROCKI – president of the Institute of National Remembrance, Mateusz MORAWIECKI – former prime minister, Mariusz BŁASZCZAK – former head of the Ministry of National Defense, Przemysław CZARNEK – former head of the Ministry of National Education.

Karol NAWROCKI, Mateusz MORAWIECKI i Mariusz BŁASZCZAK are considered moderate candidates, and Przemysław CZARNEK for a radical candidate. Next to him in recent hours, through his activity in the United States, he was placed Dominik TARCZYŃSKI.

Presidential elections 2025 – when?

.The Constitution of the Republic of Poland states that the president may hold office for two terms. Andrzej Duda cannot therefore run for a third term and his successor must be appointed by the time he completes his second term. When does Andrzej Duda’s term end? Five years after the oath of office, which took place on August 6, 2020, before the National Assembly.

Article 128 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland states that the elections of the President of the Republic of Poland are ordered by the Marshal of the Sejm. It is the Marshal of the Sejm who indicates when the presidential elections will be held. He sets the day of the first round as a day off from work, which falls no earlier than 100 days and no later than 75 days before the end of the term of office of the incumbent president.

In this situation, the most likely day of the first round of the presidential elections in 2025 is Sunday, May 18, 2025. If the president cannot be elected in the first round, the run-off will take place two weeks later, i.e. on June 1, 2025.

Who is running in the presidential elections?

.Article provision 127 of the Constitution states that a Polish citizen who is 35 years old on election day at the latest and who enjoys full electoral rights to the Sejm may be elected President of the Republic of Poland. Presidential candidates must also demonstrate that their candidacy is supported by at least 100,000 citizens who have the right to vote to the Sejm.

This last argument seems to be the most difficult to fulfill, hence the list of presidential candidates is not getting too long, although the candidates for president in 2025 already include nearly 50 names. • What should a candidate for the president of Poland be like?

.What features are most desirable when we consider that someone would represent Poland and win the presidential election first? Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of PiS, characterizes such a person this way: a presidential candidate must be a “young, tall, impressive, handsome” man. Because, as Jarosław Kaczyński claims, “voters set these image requirements high. He must have a family. Must know English very well. It’s best if he knows two languages. We have candidates who are excellent in both English and French. Just like this likely opponent in the second round. Must be internationally savvy. It should be a person for whom the world is not something foreign, who has attended conferences and lectures,” said Jarosław Kaczyński.

President Andrzej Duda was also asked about the most important features when choosing a candidate in an interview for Telewizja Trwam. He replied: “They say he should be elected. He should be a candidate that people will want to elect. This is the most important criterion. He may be beautiful, handsome, speak nine languages, but what good is it if he can’t talk to people? What if people don’t feel the touch of his hand? What if people don’t feel his presence and can’t identify with him?

“In times of war, Poland should have a president who has experience in the field of international security and has the ability to unite Poles with both liberal and conservative sensibilities,” he said at a press conference in Olsztyn. Radosław SIKORSKIhead of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and potential PO candidate for president on behalf of this party. “We need more national harmony, not less,” he added.

Candidates for president 2025. When will we know the names?

.The final list of candidates allowed to run in the 2025 presidential elections will be published by the National Electoral Commission 45 days before the first round of the presidential elections. This means the turn of March and April 2025.

Let us remember that the largest parties – those that have structures capable of quickly collecting 100,000 signatures on the candidate’s support list – may decide to change the presidential candidate running with the support/recommendation of their party. This change may be carried out even in mid-March 2025. Such a maneuver was carried out by the Civic Platform in the last presidential elections, replacing Małgorzata Kidawa Błońska in the 2020 presidential elections. Rafał TRZASKOWSKI. Then Rafał TRZASKOWSKI he lost to Andrzej Duda, even though pre-election polls did not predict his defeat.

Who will become the President of the Republic of Poland?

.Pre-election polls today, a few months before the 2025 presidential elections, are only a reflection of how voters perceive political parties; presidential candidates collect support equal to the support of the party with which the candidate is associated.

Additionally, a few months before the presidential elections, pre-election polls are subject to a fundamental research error: the parties have not yet indicated their candidates and it is not known which presidential candidates will run in these elections as party candidates. even less is known about civic candidates and those who want to run apart from party competition.

There is also one more element that we should remember when looking at how the presidential candidates in the 2025 elections will be assessed in pre-election polls. These are events that will influence voting for one or another candidate, and which may occur in the final stretch before the presidential elections. The economic situation, sense of security and pressure on Polish borders, extraordinary events such as floods, pandemics or possible earthquakes – all this may influence the assessment of candidates in the presidential elections.

Oh, Poland, you’ve got to love the drama! Welcome, everyone, to the upcoming 2025 presidential elections, where we’re guaranteed a spectacle that would make even Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies look like a Sunday picnic. I mean, who needs a soap opera when you have Dominik Tarczyński revving up to challenge for the PiS nomination? The excitement is palpable—it’s like watching a suspenseful thriller unfold… only with slightly worse acting and the occasional existential dread.

So, who is this Tarczyński fellow, anyway? Well, if he were a dish, you might find him served on a silver platter of controversy, garnished with a side of radical comments! Former Tottenham Hotspur fan turned exorcist assistant—a CV that screams, “I’ve been around the block, and it was spiritual!” When he’s not making headlines with sharp rhetoric, he’s parading himself around European Parliament like he owns the place. He’s got relations with Americans that would make any politician giddy with envy. Forget "who you know"—he’s got "who you have photos with" down to an art form!

But really, let’s dissect this man of many talents. One moment he’s firing theological volleys, and the next, he’s engaging in the kind of political discourse that makes your average family dinner sound tame. “Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but every terrorist is a Muslim"? Bravo! That’s some bold language, my friend. I can see the headline now: “Dominik Tarczyński: Politician or Controversial Stand-Up Comedian?”

And what’s all this talk about PiS candidates? Well, it seems Tarczyński is stepping into a rather competitive race. With potential candidates like Mateusz Morawiecki and Mariusz Błaszczak—who are practically household names by now—he’s joining what can only be described as a gladiatorial contest with arguments sharper than their suits! It’s like the Hunger Games, but instead of arrows, they’re looking to shoot each other down with public opinion.

Oh, and let’s talk strategy for just a second. No primaries? How democratic! It’s a bit like watching a game of musical chairs—with an enormous amount of political tension and fewer chairs than there are egos in the room. “Come on down, Dominik! Maybe this week’s lucky winner will get a shot at the presidency!”

Now, about that ‘handsome candidate’ bit— Kaczyński is clearly looking for a Polish Adonis to charm the socks off voters. Picture it: a strapping young lad who could recite foreign policies in two languages while simultaneously holding not one, but TWO puppies! But let’s be real, if that’s the bar, you might as well cast the next James Bond—Daniel Craig would have the whole country swooning!

As for the timeline—May 2025 is marked on everyone’s calendars. Politicians hunched over tables out of sight, calculating how many signatures they could collect from friendly neighbors. It’s basically like trying to convince everyone to wear a silly hat for charity—except with more at stake and fewer laughs (unless we’re talking about Tarczyński’s stand-up bits).

In the meantime, Armchair Analysts everywhere are slapping their knees, chuckling as they dissect potential candidates like they’re the latest episode of The Bachelor. Will they, won’t they? Cue emotional music… and mad scrambling for those precious 100,000 signatures!

So, to wrap it up, this presidential race promises all the drama of a heated cooking show—with better sound bites and a lot more at stake. Grab your popcorn, folks, because if Dominik Tarczyński has his way, we’re about to witness a political showdown that could very well redefine the term “radical”. Who knew democracy could make such exhilarating entertainment? Hold onto your hats—a wild ride awaits!

Delightfully European! Instead of a straightforward fight for the nomination, ‍it’s more of a political⁢ chess game⁣ where alliances can ⁢shift with the faintest hint of a scandal ‍or policy misstep. ‌It⁣ adds an element of unpredictability akin to a reality TV show—who will backstab whom, and⁣ what alliances will crumble under ‍the scrutiny of public debate?

One might wonder⁣ about the role of Radosław Sikorski, stirring the‍ political‌ pot as he contemplates his own presidential aspirations. ⁤A seasoned politician whose diplomatic experience could sway undecided voters, he’ll be fishing ⁢in the same pond as⁤ Tarczyński and others, all while navigating the turbulent waters of Poland’s political landscape. Imagine ‌that as the backdrop—who will ‌emerge as‌ the ⁣champion of their respective factions⁣ while maintaining a‌ semblance of⁣ coherence amid chaos?

And let’s not forget about‌ the electorate. Amid the political theatrics, ordinary citizens will⁣ be looking for someone who resonates with their hopes, fears, and everyday struggles. Voters have a knack for sniffing out authenticity, and they can quickly tire of political razzmatazz if the candidates fail to engage on a human level. As Kaczyński rightly said, looking good alone won’t cut it;⁢ candidates must ⁤be relatable and capable of forging genuine connections with the people.

As ⁢the‍ days creep closer to ‍election season, the stage will be set for the grand performances and potential plot twists ⁣that could redefine ‍Poland’s future. Will it be a Machiavellian masterstroke that secures victory, or the charisma that captivates the masses? It’s all part of the riveting narrative we’re living right now—a political drama packed with unforeseen⁣ developments, quirky characters, and the perennial question: who will rise to wear the ‍presidential crown in 2025?

Only time will tell, but one thing is certain—the journey will be anything but boring. Buckle up, Poland; this is going to be a ride to remember!
