**Interview with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the People’s Party**
**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us today, Mr. Zardari. You recently addressed a rally in Muzaffargarh where you expressed concerns about the current state of elections in Pakistan. Can you elaborate on your criticisms of the League (N) and what you think needs to change?
**Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:** Thank you for having me. My comments were aimed at highlighting the uncertainty surrounding the electoral process in Pakistan. I find it concerning that the Chief Election Commissioner seems to be out of the loop regarding the election schedule. Meanwhile, it appears that certain political parties are jumping the gun by prematurely announcing dates for the elections. This creates confusion and undermines the democratic process.
**Interviewer:** You mentioned a lack of clarity from the election authorities. How do you believe this impacts the trust of the public in the electoral system?
**Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:** Trust is crucial for any functioning democracy. When the Chief Election Commissioner is uncertain and political parties are making their own announcements, it breeds skepticism among the electorate. People need to feel confident that their votes matter and that the process is fair. Uncertainty breeds doubt, and doubt can lead to disengagement from the political process.
**Interviewer:** As the Chairman of the People’s Party, what steps do you think your party can take to address these issues and ensure fair elections?
**Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:** We are committed to advocating for transparency and accountability in the electoral process. We will continue to voice our concerns and push for a clear timeline from the Election Commission. Additionally, we will engage with civil society and other political entities to foster a united front in demanding free and fair elections.
**Interviewer:** What message do you have for the people of Pakistan as they navigate this uncertain political climate?
**Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:** I urge the people of Pakistan to stay engaged and informed. Your vote is your voice, and it’s vital to participate in shaping the future of our country. As we navigate these challenges together, let’s hold our leaders accountable and strive for a system that truly represents the will of the people.
**Interviewer:** Thank you for your insights, Mr. Zardari. We appreciate your time.
**Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:** Thank you for having me.
