OneSignal web push notification example
It appears that you’ve pasted a JavaScript code snippet related to advertising and analytics integration for a web page. This code is used to manage various ad-related scripts asynchronously, including Google AdSense, OneSignal (for push notifications), Disqus (for comments), and others. However, there are several commented-out sections and incomplete lines, which makes it hard to capture the complete functionality.
Here’s a brief breakdown of the key sections present in your code:
1. **AdSense Management**: The code checks for `.adsbygoogle` elements and may load AdSense ads conditionally or remove existing ads on certain criteria.
2. **OneSignal Initialization**: There is a section to initialize OneSignal, which is a service for web push notifications. It uses a specific `appId`.
3. **Disqus**: This part prepares to load Disqus comments. Some properties are initially defined, such as `page.url` and `page.identifier`, but it looks unfinished as no URL has been set.
4. **Script Loading Functions**: There are calls to `asyncLoadScript`, a function presumably defined elsewhere to load scripts asynchronously. It seems to be placed in several locations, but the actual script URLs are not provided in the pasted code.
5. **Additional Services**: Comments in the code indicate other services like CleverCore, Taboola, and Glomex, but again, the actual implementation details and script source URLs are missing.
6. **Delays**: There are `setTimeout` functions used to delay the loading of certain scripts, which helps manage script loading order or timing issues.
To extract or complete the functionality present in your code snippet, ensure all URLs and callback functions are correctly referenced, and any missing pieces of logic are filled in. Here’s an outline of how you might structure this if you were aiming to organize and complete it:
“`javascript
// Function to load scripts asynchronously
function asyncLoadScript(url) {
// Define the loading mechanism for the script
}
// Function to load modules
function asyncLoadModule(module) {
// Define logic to load modules
}
// Check and handle AdSense slots
const adSenseSlots = document.querySelectorAll(‘.adsbygoogle’);
if (adSenseSlots.length > 0) {
// Load AdSense scripts
asyncLoadScript(‘AD_SENSE_SCRIPT_URL’); // Replace with actual URL
}
// Initialize OneSignal
window.OneSignalDeferred = window.OneSignalDeferred || [];
OneSignalDeferred.push(function(OneSignal) {
OneSignal.init({
appId: “487cc53b-3b66-4f84-8803-3a3a133043ab”,
});
});
// Disqus configuration
var disqus_config = function() {
this.page.url = window.location.href; // Set to current page URL
this.page.identifier = 1556099; // Unique identifier for the page
};
setTimeout(() => {
var d = document, s = d.createElement(‘script’);
s.src = “DISQUS_SCRIPT_URL”; // Replace with actual Disqus script URL
s.setAttribute(‘data-timestamp’, +new Date());
(d.head || d.body).appendChild(s);
}, 3000);
// Handle other ad services…
“`
Ensure you replace placeholders like `AD_SENSE_SCRIPT_URL` and `DISQUS_SCRIPT_URL` with the actual URLs for the respective scripts. Each service’s initialization must be done as documented by their respective API documentation.
