**Editor:** Good afternoon, Dr. Suryani. Thank you for joining us today. We just learned that Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Budi Gunawan has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Police Commission. What are your thoughts on this development?
**Dr. Rina Suryani:** Good afternoon! This is a significant appointment. Budi Gunawan has a lengthy career in security and governance, so it’s not surprising that he’s being entrusted with this role. His experience will be crucial for overseeing the police’s accountability and effectiveness.
**Editor:** How do you think this appointment will affect the relationship between the police and the government?

**Editor:** What challenges do you foresee for Budi Gunawan as he steps into this role?
**Dr. Rina Suryani:** One of the biggest challenges will be addressing public trust in the police. There have been concerns about police misconduct and transparency.
