*Interviewer*: Thank you for joining us today, Dr. ⁢Rossi. We’ve seen the ⁤news ⁣about the‌ recall of Leninerv 600 ‌due to the presence of titanium dioxide, or E171. Can you tell us why this additive has raised concerns?

*Dr. Rossi*: Absolutely, and thank you for having me. Titanium dioxide was commonly used as a ‍coloring agent and a whitening‍ agent in various food products and supplements. However, studies have⁣ raised concerns about its safety, leading the EU to ban its use in⁢ food⁢ and dietary supplements ‌starting‍ in 2022. The primary ⁤issue‍ revolves around possible adverse effects on health, particularly in the long term.

*Interviewer*:‍ What implications does this recall‌ have for consumers who ⁤may ⁣have⁢ already taken⁢ Leninerv 600?

*Dr. Rossi*: For consumers who have the recalled batch, it’s important to stop using the product immediately. Although the immediate health risks ⁤might be minimal if only a few doses have been taken, the precautionary measure is essential. ⁣They should return the ⁢product to the point of ‌sale ⁢for a refund. It’s a reminder that even seemingly harmless supplements ⁢can have unexpected consequences.

*Interviewer*: In‌ light of this‍ incident,⁤ how can consumers‌ ensure‍ the safety of supplements they purchase in⁤ the ‌future?

*Dr. Rossi*: Great question. Consumers should always check the ingredients of any supplement ‌and ⁢be aware of any regulatory changes regarding ⁢food additives. *Interviewer*: Lastly, what is the general sentiment surrounding supplements like Leninerv 600⁣ amidst so ‍many recalls?

*Dr.⁣ Rossi*: There is a growing skepticism among consumers.‌ Many ‌are increasingly aware of the importance ‍of ingredient safety, especially when ⁤recalls become more frequent.
