The Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, signed a new decree today to finance a further 64 nursery schools, within the PNRR, for an amount equal to 40.8 million euros, of which 55% is allocated to the municipalities of the Southern regions. “Investing in nursery schools is a strategic choice for the future of our country. Every residual resource is immediately reinvested to create new places in the 0-2 year age group, so that the educational offer is improved from early childhood and the same opportunities are guaranteed to all children, regardless of their territories. Strengthening childcare services also means providing support to Italian families and in particular to working mothers. This is the direction of a Government and a Ministry that believe in the value of the person”, declared Minister Valditara.
The Ministry of Education and Merit will implement all the support procedures to support the municipalities in the implementation of the measures, as already done with the previous tenders which have in fact received a high participation rate also in the South. The simplification rules envisaged remain valid for PNRR interventions relating to school buildings.

**Jamie:** Thank you for having me! I’m excited to discuss this important aspect of job interviews.
**Host:** Let’s jump right in. What are some vital questions that candidates should consider asking HR?
**Jamie:** Absolutely! Asking the right questions can really leave a lasting impression. Here are ten great ones. For starters, asking about HR’s journey at the company—like, “Can you tell me more about your journey here?”—can provide insights into the company culture and the HR perspective.
**Host:** That makes sense! Connecting on a personal level can foster rapport. What about questions related to the work environment?
**Jamie:** Good point! Asking, “What do you enjoy most about working here?” can reveal the company’s strengths from someone who experiences it daily. It also gives you insight into what makes the workplace unique.
**Host:** Nice! Now, how do these questions benefit the candidate beyond just gathering information?
**Jamie:** Great question! These inquiries not only demonstrate a candidate’s interest in the organization but also help them assess if the company aligns with their values and career goals. A mutual fit is crucial for long-term satisfaction.
**Host:** Can you share an example of a more specific question candidates might consider?
**Jamie:** Certainly. A deeper question could be, “Can you describe the team dynamics here?” This gets into the heart of collaboration and can help candidates envision their day-to-day interactions.
**Host:** Very insightful! Are there any questions that you recommend avoiding during the interview?
**Jamie:** Yes, candidates should steer clear of questions about salary or benefits too early in the interview process. It’s best to wait until a job offer is on the table to dive into those details.
**Host:** Wise advice! Any final tips for candidates preparing for their interviews?
**Jamie:** I’d say practice active listening. Be genuinely engaged during the conversation; it can open up more natural and insightful discussions.
