The 13th edition of the Nautic Paddle takes place on the Seine on Sunday December 1st. On the program, 28 bridges over 15 kilometers, for some 1,000 participants expected.
The Pont Neuf, the Alexandre III Bridge, the Bir-Hakeim Bridge or even the Pont des Arts or the Mirabeau Bridge, all these buildings reveal different facets of a Paris that the events of the 2024 Olympic Games have made us rediscover. The Nautic Paddle 2024, which returns with a new format, is in turn presented as a unique opportunity to take the Seine as a playground.
Organized by the Fédération des Industries Nautiques, the Nautic Paddle attracts professionals as well as amateurs, enthusiasts and those with a taste for a challenge. For this new edition, 1,000 participants are expected, all nationalities and ages combined. The departure will be given at daybreak at the National Library of France (Paris 13th), for an arrival planned at the Ile de Monsieur departmental nautical park (Sèvres)whether you are in the “Leisure” or “Pro” category.
The godmother of this event will be Alexia Barrierwhich notably completed the Vendée Globe in 2021, and which today defends “The Famous Project”, a 100% female crew which aims to beat the record for the Jules Verne trophy (40 d 23 h 30 min 30 s, on 26 January 2017 by Francis Joyon on Idec Sport).
For the Nautic Paddle, the registration fee is 85 euros per participant.

It’s an opportunity for everyone to gather, celebrate the sport, and cheer on the paddlers as they navigate the city’s heart.
**Interviewer:** What has been the response from the local community regarding the event?
**Marie Dupont:** The response has been overwhelmingly positive! Each year, we see more interest from local paddlers, schools, and families who want to be part of the Nautic Paddle. It promotes not only a love for paddleboarding but also awareness of the importance of our waterways and environmental conservation.
