Tangerang (ANTARA) – The Tangerang City Health Service (Dinkes), Banten, appealed to people who experience symptoms such as fever, headache, muscle aches and nausea, to immediately go for an examination to the nearest health facility to prevent contracting chicken pox.
“Another symptom of chickenpox is red bumps, then these lumps will turn into fluid-filled blisters that will burst, dry and crust,” said Head of the Tangerang City Health Office Dini Anggraeni in Tangerang, Monday.
Dini said that people who feel this way should immediately rest until they recover completely because chicken pox can spread through physical contact. “Especially lumps from fluid or saliva,” he said.
Then the Tangerang City Health Office also confirmed that currently there is no outbreak of chickenpox cases. One effort to prevent chicken pox is Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS).

Apart from that, he continued, immunization also needs to be given to increase immunity to children under 12 years old. “The government does not cover chickenpox or varicella immunization. So, please carry out your own immunization,” he said.
Dini appealed to the people of Tangerang City to continue implementing PHBS until it becomes a daily lifestyle. He also hopes that there will be no cases of chicken pox in Tangerang City.
“Hopefully, there will be no cases of chicken pox in Tangerang City that become clusters in certain areas. We urge you to continue implementing PHBS and immediately visit the nearest health service facility if you are exposed or these symptoms appear,” he said.

Duck, Duck, Go…See the Doctor! Chicken Pox Alert in Tangerang
Right then, Tangerang folks! We’re going to talk chicken pox today. Yes, that delightful childhood rite of passage that’s just a tad more uncomfortable than a family gathering with your second cousin twice removed. And, as per the Tangerang City Health Service (Dinkes), if you’re feeling feverish, achy, or like you’ve just done ten rounds with a particularly aggressive pillow, it might be time to swing by your nearest health facility!
Now, let me paint a picture for you: fever, headaches, muscle aches, and nausea, all lovingly accompanied by red bumps. These bumps aren’t party favors; they transition into fluid-filled blisters. They’re the uninvited guests that burst, dry up, and then crust over like last week’s bread left in a warm cupboard. Yum!
Dini Anggraeni, the Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, is on the case, saying that if you’ve got those symptoms, your best bet is to dock at home and rest, because chicken pox spreads through direct contact. And not the kind of contact where you high-five someone after a good joke; I’m talking about the kind where you might as well exchange fluids with a leaky faucet!
Panic Alert: No Outbreak—Yet!
Before you start flipping out and barricading your doors with chicken wire, here’s the good news: there’s currently no widespread outbreak of chicken pox. It’s like they’re keeping the ruckus inside the kitchen rather than letting it spill into the living room. But just because they’re not building a chicken pox commune doesn’t mean you should let your guard down. Keep those Clean and Healthy Living Habits (PHBS) on your radar!
Now, while we’re at it, let’s talk about immunity. Dini also dropped a little nugget of wisdom about immunization for kiddos under 12. Parents, dust off those calendars! Your government may not cover chicken pox shots, so it’s up to you to make sure the little ones are protected. Let’s hope your kids are better at shots than they are at sharing their toys, eh?
Let’s Make PHBS a Lifestyle, People!
Now here’s a little call-to-action from Dini: she’s hoping to see PHBS not just as a health guideline, but as a lifestyle choice. You know, like changing your social media profile every week to reflect your *current mood*. Let’s face it; nobody wants a chicken pox cluster forming like the *unfriendly neighborhood spider*, so keep washing those hands and avoid sharing snacks during Netflix binges!
To sum it all up, if you see those tell-tale signs creeping in, don’t sit there watching the paint dry; get yourself checked out before you’re making a little hospital bed your new favorite spot. And remember, prevention is better than dealing with the discomfort of itchy bumps while trying to explain to your friends why you’re not joining them for that weekend adventure.
So, Tango with Tangerang! Show those chicken pox who’s boss. Stay healthy, stay informed, and for heaven’s sake, keep an eye on those red bumps!

**Q: Dini, thank you for joining us today. Can you tell us more about the early symptoms of chicken pox that people should be aware of?**
**Dini Anggraeni:** Absolutely! The early symptoms of chicken pox often include fever, headache, muscle aches, and nausea. Following that, you’ll notice red bumps appearing on the skin, which will eventually turn into fluid-filled blisters. These blisters can burst, dry out, and crust over – it’s quite a distinct progression that we see.
**Q: If someone recognizes these symptoms, what should they do next?**
**Dini Anggraeni:** It’s crucial for them to rest at home and avoid contact with others to prevent further spread of the virus. Chicken pox is highly contagious, especially through physical contact with those blisters or even via saliva.
**Q: There are some concerns about potential outbreaks—what’s the current situation in Tangerang?**
**Dini Anggraeni:** Thankfully, we currently do not have an outbreak of chicken pox in Tangerang City. However, that doesn’t mean we should sit back and relax. We encourage everyone to be proactive by practicing good hygiene and cleanliness, especially since cases can still arise.
**Q: Is there any preventive measure that the community can take?**
**Dini Anggraeni:** Yes, promoting Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is key. Additionally, we advise parents to ensure their children under 12 years of age receive the varicella immunization. This might not be covered by the government, so it’s essential that parents take the initiative to get their children vaccinated.
**Q: What’s your final message to the residents of Tangerang?**
**Dini Anggraeni:** I urge everyone to keep practicing good hygiene habits as part of their daily routine to keep our community healthy. If you experience any chicken pox symptoms, please visit your nearest health facility immediately. Let’s work together to maintain a chicken pox-free Tangerang City!
**Q: Thank you, Dini, for sharing this vital information with us today!**
