Minister of Culture Fadli Zon revealed plans to unite various regulations related to culture into one law (UU) called the Cultural Omnibus Law. The regulations will begin to be formulated next year.
“Later we will create a team. This is a new ministry. So we will collect it, maybe next year we will start to put it together,” said Fadli in his office, Jakarta, Monday (4/10).
He admitted that currently his party is still busy taking care of preparing the organizational structure and work procedures.

“There aren’t even any officials yet. Maybe next year we will start discussing the Omnibus Law on Culture,” he added.
Fadli considers it necessary to make the Cultural Law into one large unit. The reason is that currently there are too many regulations related to women’s business and they overlap with each other.
“Now there is a Museum Law. Maybe someone else will propose a Music Law later. However, if we had one Cultural Omnibus Law, we could collect everything in one law to make it simpler,” he concluded. (Z-11)

**Interviewer:** Welcome to our special segment! Today, we’re diving into the fascinating world of media interviews. I’m joined by media expert, Alex Thompson. Alex, thank you for being here!
**Alex Thompson:** Thank you for having me! I’m excited to discuss the various formats of media interviews.
**Interviewer:** Let’s kick things off. There are so many different types of media interview formats. Can you highlight a few and their unique characteristics?
**Alex Thompson:** Absolutely! Some common formats include broadcast interviews, where you’re often in a studio setting, and outdoor broadcast interviews, which take place in natural settings. Down-the-line interviews are done via satellite, allowing for real-time conversations over long distances. Each format has its own set of challenges and advantages.
**Interviewer:** That’s interesting! What should a guest keep in mind when preparing for these different formats?
**Alex Thompson:** Preparation is key! For studio interviews, guests should be aware of camera presence and lighting. For outdoor interviews, they need to be prepared for potential distractions from the environment. In down-the-line interviews, technical issues can arise, so having a reliable internet connection and understanding the setup is crucial.
**Interviewer:** Great tips! What would you say is the most challenging format for interviewees?
**Alex Thompson:** I would argue that outdoor broadcast interviews can be particularly challenging. The unpredictability of weather, noise, and distractions can affect delivery. Guests must remain composed and focus on their message despite these external factors.
**Interviewer:** Excellent insight! Lastly, what is one piece of advice you would give to someone preparing for a media interview, regardless of the format?
**Alex Thompson:** Practice makes perfect! Rehearse your key messages and stay calm. Familiarizing yourself with the format and anticipating questions can greatly enhance your performance.
**Interviewer:** Thank you, Alex, for sharing your expertise on media interview formats. It’s been a pleasure having you!
**Alex Thompson:** Thank you! I enjoyed our discussion.
