“It is time!” Carey said in the video.
When Carey said this the song All I Want for Christmas is You played and the black and white image at the beginning of the video changed to a snowy wonderland. Actor Gomez Addams also turned into a snowman.
For your information, Carey often uploads Christmas greeting videos every November 1, there is no definite reason why Carey does this, but for your information, Carey has been known as the Queen of Christmas.
This nickname was given to Carey because her song, entitled All I Want for Christmas is You, has always been a song that is listened to by many people around the world before Christmas, even though it was released in 1994.
Based on information circulating, All I Want for Christmas is You, which was released 30 years ago, annually contributes around USD 2.6 million or around IDR 41.2 billion to Carey. This may also be the reason Carey regularly shares short videos to welcome Christmas. (M-3)

**Interview with Dr. Andrew Lawson, Evolutionary Biologist**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Dr. Lawson. Your recent collaboration on ”The Collapse Is Coming” raises some fascinating points about humanity’s adaptability in the face of potential societal collapse. Can you share what inspired this project?
**Dr. Lawson:** Thank you for having me! The inspiration came from a convergence of ideas in both the scientific community and popular culture. I realized that the existential questions posed by climate change, resource depletion, and political instability are not just scientific concerns but also cultural narratives. The blending of my background in evolutionary biology with the speculative insights of a science fiction writer allowed us to explore these issues creatively.
**Editor:** That’s intriguing! In your discussions, what key adaptations did you find that humanity might need to embrace to survive impending challenges?
**Dr. Lawson:** We explored several adaptive strategies, including fostering more sustainable communities, investing in renewable resources, and enhancing our social resilience. Importantly, we discussed the need for a cultural shift in values—embracing cooperation and innovation over competition and short-term gain.
**Editor:** You mentioned collaboration with a science fiction writer. How does fiction play a role in shaping our understanding of potential futures?
**Dr. Lawson:** Fiction can serve as both a cautionary tale and a source of inspiration. It allows us to explore the consequences of our choices in immersive ways that pure science cannot. By envisioning possible futures, we can better prepare for them and possibly steer our actions towards more favorable outcomes.
**Editor:** Are there successful examples from history where humanity has adapted to significant challenges that could inform current efforts?
**Dr. Lawson:** Absolutely. The adaptation of societies following the agricultural revolution, or how communities rebuilt after catastrophic events like World War II, highlight human resilience. The key takeaway is that adaptation often involves a combination of changes in technology, social structure, and collective mindset.
**Editor:** As we look to the future, what final thoughts would you like to leave our readers with regarding the themes explored in your project?
**Dr. Lawson:** I’d like to emphasize that while the challenges we face are daunting, they are also opportunities for growth and innovation. By harnessing creativity—be it through science, art, or community activism—we can pave a path forward. Collaboration is crucial, and every individual has a role to play in shaping a sustainable future.
**Editor:** Thank you, Dr. Lawson, for sharing your insights. It’s a thought-provoking perspective as we consider both our challenges and opportunities ahead.
**Dr. Lawson:** Thank you! I hope the conversation continues and inspires action.
