**Interview with Ahsan Ramzan, World Snooker Champion**

**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Ahsan. You’ve recently been in the news due ⁣to an incident‍ at⁢ your snooker club in Green Town, Lahore. Can⁣ you tell us what happened?

**Ahsan Ramzan:** Thank you for having me. It was a very unfortunate situation. ⁢Around midnight, the police from the Green Town station arrived ⁢at my snooker club and confronted me about ⁣keeping⁢ the club open,⁣ despite a government order stating it should be closed. They were quite aggressive and abusive.

**Editor:** That sounds intense. You have been running this club for eight years. What is the‍ purpose of keeping it open at that hour?

**Ahsan Ramzan:** Exactly. I’ve maintained this club‌ as a place for both recreational play and ‌coaching for the past eight years. Right now, I’m preparing for the ⁢National Championship, and I practice at night because it’s cooler and more conducive to ⁤my training.

**Editor:** When the police cited orders from the SHO to close ⁣your club, how did you respond?

**Ahsan Ramzan:** I asked to ‍speak with the SHO directly. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the police station, I was poorly treated. It was⁣ disheartening to see such behavior⁤ towards someone who is simply trying to pursue their passion.

**Editor:** Did‍ you receive any support from local officials regarding⁢ this ⁣incident?

**Ahsan ‍Ramzan:** Yes, after the incident gained some attention, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, took notice. It’s important to have support in⁢ such cases, especially when the authorities ‌overstep their boundaries.

**Editor:** What message do you want ‌to send to your fellow snooker players and fans?

**Ahsan Ramzan:** I just want everyone to know that we should stand together for our rights and our passion for ‌the sport. We deserve spaces to ‍practice and grow. I hope this incident opens dialogue about the treatment⁤ of athletes and business owners in our community.

**Editor:** ‌Thank ⁤you for sharing your experience, Ahsan. We wish you ‍all the best in‍ your preparations for the National Championship.

**Ahsan Ramzan:** Thank you very much!
