A cold invasion is coming from the East

The weather is expected to be more… wintry in the coming days, as as Klearchos Marousakis reports, a cold air mass from Ukraine will drop the temperature.

The weather scene is changing in the next few days as the rain will continue. At least until the 8th – 10th of the month we do not expect significant rains in our country, due to the high pressure field which covers a large part of the old Epirus, effectively preventing bad weather.

Thodoris Kolydas’ post states the following: “the transfer of cold gas masses from NE Europe to our area begins next Saturday and continues for most of next week. In the videos, their two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) movement.

Thodoris Kolidas has made a similar prediction, noting that in the coming days cold air masses are expected from north-eastern Europe towards the Mediterranean, which will cause the temperature to drop by up to 7 degrees.

As he mentions in his post, the weather will resemble winter. The director of EMY notes that the temperature will drop by five to seven degrees from the air masses coming from Ukraine and the weather will be quite cold.

‍ ### Interview ⁢with ‌Meteorologist Klearchos Marousakis

**Editor**: Welcome, Klearchos! Thanks for joining us‌ today. Can you tell us what we can expect⁣ from the weather in the coming days?

**Klearchos Marousakis**:‌ Thank you for having me! Yes, we are indeed in for a significant change. A cold air mass is moving in from Ukraine, which ‍will lead to a drop in temperatures ⁣across the region.

**Editor**: That sounds quite drastic. How ⁢soon ⁣can we ‌expect to feel‌ this⁤ change?

**Klearchos ⁤Marousakis**: The effects will start to be felt next Saturday and will continue into the ⁣following week. We’re looking ‌at a wintry scenario with colder temperatures that could be quite noticeable.

**Editor**: You mentioned earlier that there’s‌ still some rain expected before this cold front. Can you⁢ elaborate on that?

**Klearchos Marousakis**: Certainly!⁣ While we’re expecting this cold air‍ mass, ⁣we will see ongoing⁤ rain for the next few days. However, significant rains ⁤aren’t ⁢anticipated⁢ until around ‍the 8th⁣ to 10th of the month, primarily due to a high-pressure system keeping the worst of the weather at bay over old⁢ Epirus.

**Editor**: Interesting! So, what should people prepare for in light‍ of this upcoming cold snap?

**Klearchos Marousakis**: I’d advise everyone to start preparing for colder temperatures by checking their winter gear and ensuring⁢ their homes are ready for the chill. It’s also a good time to ⁢keep an eye on local forecasts, as conditions can change rapidly with these cold air ⁤movements.

**Editor**: Thank you, Klearchos, for these insights. It sounds like we need to be ready for a big shift in our ⁣weather.

**Klearchos Marousakis**: Absolutely! Stay warm and stay tuned for⁤ updates as we⁤ approach this cold front.

**Editor**: Thanks again for ⁣joining us! We’ll be sure to keep our audience informed.
