Hrithik Roshan revealed in an interview that while shooting for a scene, popular Bollywood actress Rekha slapped him hard on the cheek, leaving him stunned.
‘Koi Mil Gaya‘ is a blockbuster movie of Hrithik Roshan, which made crores at the box office. The film was directed by Hrithik Roshan’s father and veteran actor Rakesh Roshan, Rekha played the role of mother in the film. While Preity Zinta was the main heroine of the film.
There were many emotional scenes in the film, one such scene is still etched in people’s minds today, when Hrithik Roshan sends signals to the aliens from his father’s computer. During the shooting of this scene, Hrithik Roshan himself revealed that while shooting this scene, he was making mistakes one after another.
According to Bharti Medha, in an interview, Hrithik said that when he reached the set, he realized that he had prepared the second scene by mistake.
The actor said that we had to shoot that scene that day, where in the film my mother Sonia (Rekha) pats my cheek lovingly and I cry saying why I am not normal like other people.
It was a difficult scene and when I came to know that the shooting of this scene was on the same day, I was worried. I sat in my car for 45 minutes wondering what to do. The director of this film was my father and I knew very well that he would not postpone the shooting under any circumstances. The actor recalled.
Sharing more details, Hrithik said, “After preparing myself mentally, I reached the set to shoot the scene. Before the scene was shot, Rekhaji came and told me that she would slap me on the cheeks to add realism to the scene and I should prepare myself for it.
I thought it was a joke and did not take Rekhaji’s words too seriously. But as soon as the scene started, Rekha ji slapped me hard on the cheek and I was stunned. I was really crying in this scene. Because all my emotions were out.
