The yafka, the “key” persons and the first findings

For 24 hours a day, the authorities are guarding the apartment in Ampelokipi that was completely destroyed at noon on Thursday 31/10 after the deadly explosion. The police are canvassing the area looking for any evidence that may be useful while the investigation continues for the young man who was killed while the woman who was injured has been identified.

The investigations have been undertaken by Anti-Terrorism in order to connect the findings with a terrorist organization, with some of the cases being investigated or attacks on a bank, etc.

Everything shows – according to the information – and according to what the doctors from “Evangelismo” certify, that the dead man, who is dismembered from the waist up, seems that at the time of the explosion he was building an explosive device.

The apartment was not rented but was given by the owner’s son in the Netherlands 15 days ago.

MEGA contacted his mother, who confirmed that he was the one who gave the keys.

In addition to the on-site investigation carried out by Anti-Terrorism, material is also collected from the area’s security cameras in order to identify the movements of both residents and visitors.

It has already been established from testimonies that young people entered and left the apartment in question.

The three persons – “keys”

The “key” persons in the case seem to be three.

The man who died instantly and was allegedly working on some explosive device, which probably exploded in his hands.

A 30-35 year old woman who was in the apartment but not in the area where the bomb exploded.

And a person who has been active in the anti-authoritarian space since 2010 and in fact in 2015 was arrested for attacking a Rector.

The 3rd person is a 30-year-old woman who reportedly had keys to the house but authorities have not yet located her.
