“We have the capacity to build nuclear weapons” –

“We now have the technical capabilities necessary to produce nuclear weapons“, but the fatwa issued by the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, “currently prohibits it”. This was stated by Kamal Kharrazi, Khamenei’s advisor, in an interview with the Lebanese broadcaster Al Mayadeen in which he explained that the Islamic Republic could change its nuclear doctrine in the event of an “existential threat”.

Kharrazi then underlined that Iran is ready to respond to any escalation, expressing at the same time its desire to avoid an open confrontation with Israel. In this regard, Khamenei’s advisor explained that the Islamic Republic “showed its deterrence capabilities” through Operation True Promise II, during which it launched hundreds of ballistic missiles against the Jewish State.

**Interview with Jane Smith, Media ‌Innovation Expert**

**Editor:** Thank⁤ you for joining us today, Jane. There’s been a growing interest among journalists in using AI tools like ChatGPT. What are the main functionalities ‌of these tools that you believe every journalist should be aware of?

**Jane Smith:** Thank you for having me. AI tools like ChatGPT offer a variety of functionalities that can significantly enhance a journalist’s workflow. For instance, journalists can use AI for researching current events and trends, which helps them stay informed about the latest developments. This is crucial for ⁢producing timely and relevant content.

**Editor:** That’s interesting! ‌Can you elaborate on ‍how journalists‍ can‌ utilize these tools for gathering⁣ background information?

**Jane Smith:** Absolutely. ChatGPT can assist journalists by pulling together background information on topics quickly. It⁣ can summarize previous articles, highlight key figures, and offer context about ongoing issues. This capability⁤ allows reporters to dive deeper into ⁣stories without spending hours sifting through information.

**Editor:** And what about interpreting complex ‌data? Many journalists find‍ this particularly challenging.

**Jane Smith:** Indeed, data interpretation can be daunting. AI tools can help simplify large datasets and provide straightforward summaries or visualizations. This aids journalists in making sense⁤ of complex information, enabling them to⁣ present it to their audience in an accessible manner.

**Editor:** With all this potential, are there any risks or ethical concerns that journalists should consider when using AI tools?

**Jane Smith:** Definitely. While AI can enhance journalistic practices, ethical concerns‍ remain, particularly regarding accuracy and bias. Journalists need to remain vigilant and fact-check any information generated by AI. The use of AI should complement traditional journalism, not replace the critical thinking and⁤ integrity⁢ that form ⁣the foundation ‍of the profession.

**Editor:** That’s a valuable perspective, Jane. As AI⁣ continues to evolve, what do you envision for‌ the future ‍of journalism?

**Jane Smith:** I believe the future⁣ of⁣ journalism ⁤will be a blend of human insight and AI efficiency.⁢ Journalists will increasingly use these tools to enhance their storytelling, conduct⁣ in-depth investigations, and create more engaging content.
