The XXXLutz subsidiary Mömax has opened its first “Citystore” branch in Vienna and wants to attract more inner-city walk-in customers. The new location is 350 meters from the “City” Ikea at Vienna’s Westbahnhof at Mariahilfer Straße 116.
The furniture and furnishings chain with headquarters in Wels said the range is on display on a sales area of 2,500 square meters. “With our newest Mömax trend furniture store, we are now represented in the heart of Vienna’s largest shopping street,” said company spokesman Thomas Saliger. The reopening will create 20 new jobs and two new apprenticeships.
Mömax operates 115 furniture stores in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Switzerland. Mömax has 22 locations in Austria.
