During the vibrant All Saints’ celebration in Naples yesterday, law enforcement seized two baseball bats from two young women dressed as “Harley Quinn.” This incident has led to reports being filed against them for illegal possession of weapons.
Overall, eight individuals were reported for similar offenses, among whom five were minors. Among the weapons confiscated were a variety of knives and a katana, which was notably paired with a striking samurai costume.
Driving without a license and under the influence of drugs
In a routine territory control operation, under the essential assistance of the Reggimento Campania, the carabinieri arrested a 20-year-old Neapolitan for resisting arrest. This young man, lacking a valid driver’s license and operating under the influence of drugs, recklessly attempted to avoid a road check.
In a desperate move, he struck an officer with his scooter before attempting to flee the scene. However, after losing control of his vehicle, he was ultimately stopped by authorities. He is currently under house arrest as he awaits trial.
Selling alcohol to minors
A 37-year-old woman, owner of a local bar, has been reported for the serious offense of selling alcohol to a minor. In addition, four Neapolitans, who had previously been fined for similar violations and were under the Dacur program, were caught engaging in illegal parking activities.
Controls
During the comprehensive operations, two Moroccans who were found to be irregular within the national territory and a 51-year-old Neapolitan responsible for tax evasion were reported while still at large.
In another incident, a Chinese restaurant was heavily penalized for hygienic-sanitary violations, incurring a fine of €4,500, the seizure of 30 kg of untraceable food, and the suspension of its operations. Additionally, three individuals were reported to the Prefecture for drug possession. A total of thirteen traffic violations were documented, including five instances for not wearing helmets, which resulted in the administrative detention of five vehicles.
