He has registered his company in Pakistan, while he plans to register his company in America and Saudi Arabia as well.

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Mohsin Aslam said that he has been working in this field since 2018 and has also been a top rated freelancer on Fiver.

Mohsin Aslam says that ’till now we have successfully developed and supplied more than 30 products in the market which are being sold. The products we have designed have been made for various clients across the world, including the US, UK, Europe, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.’

According to Mohsin, most of his customers are Amazon sellers who get him to develop new products for Amazon and then sell them on Amazon.

“This smart drone that we have designed is a multi-purpose drone and it has also been presented at the Consumer Electronics Show 2023 in Los Angeles,” says Mohsin.

In addition, we have created a dog training system. If you have pets at home and want them not to mess with your important things, this is what we designed for them. It is also a very good product of ours which is very popular in the market.’

He said that the most difficult product he had ever designed was a beauty product.

This section contains related reference points (Related Nodes field).

‘It was a hair straightener. He looked very easy to look at, with a five-in-one concept. The base was the same but the top heads were to be changed but that was where we had the most problems and it proved to be very difficult to design as it was also a difficult step to meet the international certification standards.’

He said that to design any product, he first analyzes it and then sees which international certification standards will apply to the product and how to meet them.

He said, ‘The next step is design in which we do enclosure designing, PCB designing and firmware designing. In the next step we develop the prototype. In prototyping we do PCB fabrication, enclosure fabrication and then assemble all the hardware.’

According to Mohsin, the final stage is testing which checks whether the desired results have been achieved or not.

According to Mohsin, ‘If the required results are not achieved, we send it back and then it is tested again, but if the testing is good, then the prototype is sent to the customer for final approval and when the customer approves. So it is sent to the production unit where mass production starts.’

He said that first of all, they see if this product is possible to make in Pakistan or not, and if it is not possible to manufacture it in Pakistan, then they get it mass produced from China where they have some What is the joint venture with the companies?

He said that the process is very difficult as there are no clear rules for product design and development in any sector of the government.

Mohsin explains that ‘if we have to send one of our prototypes to any country, we are not allowed to do so. We then have to resort to illegal means for which we also have to pay speed money.’

According to Mohsin, most of his efforts are to send samples to the customer if a relative or acquaintance is going abroad.

He said that the government should at least allow them to send samples and order samples from overseas customers.

‘If one of our customers sends us a sample to use as a reference we can design the product. For this we have to pay a lot of duty charges.

We have to eliminate these duties. Apart from this, we have to improve the ‘ease of doing business’.

He said that payment in foreign dollars from Pakistan is also a big problem. Mohsin says that suppose I have to send dollars to China to import raw materials, it is a very long process.

The government should first solve this problem. He said that if the country is stable Internet If provided, many people sitting in remote areas can also work in this sector.

Regarding the difficulties faced in receiving money from abroad, Mohsin said that due to the lack of PayPal in Pakistan, he uses the international platforms ‘PayOwner’ and ‘Wise’. According to Mohsin, he has received many offers to go abroad but he does not want to leave Pakistan.

Mohsin says that ‘I have an offer from Canada, I have received an offer from America. Many companies have offered me joint ventures but personally I like to stay in Pakistan. My family is here, my friends are here. I understand that if the government wants to promote us, I have a request to them to help us manufacture and sell ‘Made in Pakistan’ products.’

He said that fresh graduates must come in this field because it is a new field in Pakistan and there are many opportunities to develop in it.

“They should first find a gap to fill and enter the market,” Mohsin said. If they want to get into product design and development then they should basically learn one skill like become a PCB designer and go to pro level in that and build a team of your own and then start working in Pakistan. Do it.’

**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining ‌us today, Mohsin. Your ‍work in drone technology and product development is quite impressive. ⁤Can you tell us more about⁢ your journey in ⁤this field?

**Muhammad Mohsin Aslam:** Thank you‍ for having me. I ⁤started ‍my journey‍ in 2018, focusing on developing ‌innovative electronic devices and drones. Being a top-rated freelancer on Fiverr helped me gain experience and connect with clients across the globe.

**Interviewer:** You mentioned that you’ve developed and supplied over ‍30 products, many aimed at Amazon sellers. What are some notable products you’ve⁣ created?

**Mohsin:** Yes, we’ve designed various products, including multi-purpose drones and smart devices like an irrigation system ‌and a smart dog training system. Our drone was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show 2023, which was a significant milestone for us.

**Interviewer:** That’s remarkable! You also mentioned ⁢a challenging project involving a ‌hair straightener. Can ‌you elaborate on‌ that?

**Mohsin:** Absolutely. The hair straightener was designed with a five-in-one concept, but achieving the necessary international certification standards proved quite⁤ challenging. The design process required extensive analysis ‍and iteration, but ultimately, we learned valuable lessons that improved our overall ⁤design capabilities.

**Interviewer:** It sounds like you have a well-structured design ‍and testing process. What are some hurdles ‍you⁤ face in product development in Pakistan?

**Mohsin:** One major challenge is the lack of clear regulations for product development, ⁢leading to ⁢bureaucratic obstacles.
