Prima Pramac Racing RACER Jorge Martin is optimistic that he can secure the 2024 MotoGP world title in the upcoming race, the Malaysian GP, which will take place in Sepang, this weekend.
“I’m fine, I’m confident, and it’s a privilege to be here with Pecco (Francesco Bagnaia), I think at the moment it’s quite crazy with our bikes being equal, fighting for the title again here,” said Martin, quoted from the official MotoGP statement, Friday (1/11).
“I will fight to the end with everything I have for my team, my people and myself,” he added.

The racer from Spain also admitted that he had a completely different mentality from when he fought for the world title last year.
“This year, the pressure is still there, but I think I am more mature, and yesterday (in Thailand), I was able to enjoy the moment. I know I can lose it (the title) but I also know I can win,” said Martin.
“Last year, I lost the title, and nothing happened to me, so it’s not the end of the world, so I will give my 100% this weekend,” he added.

On the other hand, Prima Pramac Racing Team Manager Gino Borsoi said he was proud of Martin who had fought so hard to become the main racer again to fight for the world title this year.
“This final part of the season, like last year, is a privilege to be back fighting with a factory team, and we will
did my best in the last two races to achieve the best results,” said Borsoi.
Furthermore, Borsoi said that the pressure that Martin now has is more or less the same as last year, only now he and the team have
learned a lot about how to control this pressure at critical moments.
“I think we learned a lot from last year and have improved a lot compared to last year. We were able to understand what we were lacking and what the important points were to be able to fight for the world title,” said Borsoi.
“Jorge not only improved his mentality, but I also improved mine mentally. That is something that everyone has to improve in this situation because when tense moments come, you have to be mentally ready,” he concluded. (Ant/Z-1)
