“It’s time to race in Malaysia, a track where we can possibly compete,” said Marc Marquez in a press release, Tuesday (29/10).
Despite experiencing an incident at the Buriram Circuit, Marc Marquez tried to play it safe so he could finish the race even though he was unable to catch up with Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin who finished in first and second place.
“That day, we were the fastest on the track, but the results were not satisfactory. There was no way to overtake Pecco (Bagnaia’s nickname). I tried in the safest way, but it’s easy to make mistakes in such conditions,” said Marc Marquez .

Marc Marquez managed to secure five points from finishing in 11th position to maintain his position in third place in the MotoGP standings with 356 points, 11 points ahead of Enea Bastianini in fourth position.
“We did make mistakes, and even so we ended up eleventh. Then, from the back row I had to do a lot to score some points, but we managed to do it,” stressed Marc Marquez.
Alex Marquez, who finished in 10th position at the Buriram Circuit, said, “I made a silly mistake on the sighting lap, but it wasn’t due to a lack of concentration.”
“I wanted to try the track on the sidewalk and ended up falling. I apologize to the team, even though my speed today was equivalent to seventh or eighth position, even though I started from the third row. We will make amends in Malaysia,” concluded the 28 year old Spaniard. That. (Ant/Z-1)
