According to the Federal Labor Law (that hefty book nobody reads unless they have to), you should have your bonus before December 20th. Itâs legally mandatedâbecause, apparently, the government is also big on holiday surprises.
How Much Bonus Do IMSS Pensioners Receive?

- Pensioners due to unemployment or old age under the 1973 Law
- Old-age pensioners under the 1973 Law
What to Do If They Donât Deposit Your Bonus?
If you wake up one fine November day and look at your bank account only to find it looking emptier than your fridge after a binge weekend, hereâs what to do. First, check that you meet the requirements set out in the LFT and Social Security Law. You wouldnât want to storm the castle without your court published credentials, now would you?
If youâre still left hanging like a bad punchline, itâs time to escalate! File a complaint with the Conciliation and Arbitration Board and seek legal counsel as if your retirement, or rather your bonus, depends on itâbecause, well, it might! And remember, you can report this from December 21st onward to the Federal Labor Defense Attorney’s Office (Profedet) because no one should miss out on that sweet, sweet bonus. đ
