Marineros FSC and Gladiadores FS shared the points in the pair of matches they had during the weekend, corresponding to matchday three of the 2024 Clausura Tournament of the Futve Futsal 1 2024 League.
On Saturday, October 26, the quintets agreed 3-3, while on Sunday, October 27, the tie was 1-1. Both challenges were held at the Las Colinas de Anaco gym, home of the nautical team.
With this pair of ties, added to the two between Tigers and Monagas Futsal, the order of Group D of the tournament remains intact. The Guariqueños are first with 12 points, the “Warriors of Guarapiche” follow with seven, the Navals are third with six and La Armadura closes with four countable points.
Goal scorers
The clashes between Mariners and Gladiators had a varied cocktail in terms of scorers.
In favor of those led by Eudo Villalobos, Wilker Tovar, Marcos Vásquez and Jesús Rodríguez scored on Saturday. On Sunday the lone target was the work of Rodríguez himself, nicknamed “guayita.”
Henry Perozo, Gregorio Jiménez and Víctor Villahermosa were present on Saturday for the troops commanded by Leyster Cedeño. The next day, World Cup player Alexander Moreno shook the nets for the visit.
It is expected that in the next few hours the Futve Futsal League will announce the match schedule corresponding to the fourth date of the closing championship.

**Interview with Sports Analyst Carlos Ramirez on the Anzoatiguense Derby**
**Editor**: Welcome, Carlos! Thank you for joining us today. Let’s dive right into the recent Anzoatiguense derby. There have been many discussions about its overall performance and impact. What can you share about this derby?
**Carlos Ramirez**: Thank you for having me! The Anzoatiguense derby is always highly anticipated, but it seems this particular match lacked the intensity we usually expect. Despite the rivalry, the players didn’t deliver the thrilling performance fans were hoping for.
**Editor**: That’s interesting. What do you think contributed to this? Were there any specific factors?
**Carlos Ramirez**: There are a few elements to consider. First, both teams seemed to play defensively, possibly looking to avoid mistakes rather than taking risks that could lead to exciting plays. Additionally, there might have been some fatigue from the players, considering the busy schedule leading up to the derby.
**Editor**: So, do you believe this match will impact the teams’ morale moving forward?
**Carlos Ramirez**: Absolutely. A lackluster performance can affect team confidence, but it also presents an opportunity for coaching staff to reassess strategies. If they address the issues and motivate the players, they could bounce back stronger in their next matches.
**Editor**: That makes sense. What are your predictions for the coming games in light of this derby’s outcome?
**Carlos Ramirez**: It’s hard to say definitively, but if either team can learn from this experience and adjust accordingly, they could have a good shot at reclaiming momentum. Fans will be watching closely to see how the teams respond.
**Editor**: Great insights, Carlos. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Anzoatiguense derby. We look forward to seeing how this develops in subsequent matches!
**Carlos Ramirez**: Thanks for having me! I’m excited to see what happens next as the season unfolds!
