Welcome to November at Little Artemisia: Where Kids and Cozy Yoga Collide!
Ah, November! The month when the leaves fall, temperatures drop, and the world collectively wonders if it’s time to jump-start the holiday season or just hibernate like a bear. Luckily for the folks in Capannori, there’s a delightful reprieve from the winter chill at the Little Artemisia Grows exhibition, which promises plenty of engaging events for little ones and their families. It’s a bit like a community potluck but with less overcooked broccoli and more creative workshops!
Get Ready for a Month of Magical Mayhem!
The program for November reads like a holiday shopping list that found its way into the hands of a creative toddler, with activities brimming with fun and just a sprinkle of ‘what on earth were they thinking?’ From yoga sessions named after the elements—because why not channel your inner fire while performing downward dog?—to workshops designed to inspire both parents and kids. This is, quite frankly, a level of enrichment that would make even the most ambitious overachievers slightly envious.

**Interview with Maria Rossi, Program Coordinator at Little Artemisia**
**Editor:** Welcome, Maria! November is an exciting month at Little Artemisia. Can you tell us a bit about what makes this month so special for families in Capannori?
**Maria:** Absolutely! November is a fantastic time for families to engage in enriching activities that blend creativity and wellness. Our theme for the month focuses on inviting families to explore various elements through workshops and yoga sessions designed for children and parents alike. Whether it’s through yoga named after Earth, Water, Fire, or inspiring creative workshops, there’s truly something for everyone!
**Editor:** It sounds like a full calendar of activities! Are there any highlights you think families should particularly look forward to?
**Maria:** Definitely! One of our standout events is “Once Upon a Time,” a surprise reading and creative workshop for young children on November 6th. It promises to spark their imaginations while also giving parents a chance to connect. Plus, our yoga courses are structured not just for relaxation but also for play — we have the ‘PRITHVI (Earth)’ and ‘LAL (Water)’ sessions that emphasize grounding and fluidity, which kids will love!
**Editor:** I love how you incorporate elements into the yoga sessions! For those interested, how can families reserve their spots for these activities?
**Maria:** Reservations are essential since we have limited spaces, especially for the more popular workshops. Families can simply send an email to info@cooperativalaluce.com. We encourage everyone to act quickly to avoid missing out, especially as some events are almost always fully booked!
**Editor:** That sounds simple enough! How do you think these events benefit the families and children attending?
**Maria:** Our goal is to foster a sense of community while inspiring creativity and wellness. These activities encourage children to express themselves, engage with nature, and explore yoga as a form of play. For parents, it’s a chance to connect with others and share experiences, which is invaluable in our busy lives.
**Editor:** Thank you for sharing those insights, Maria! Before we wrap up, is there anything else you’d like readers to know about November at Little Artemisia?
**Maria:** Just a reminder — there’s something unique happening nearly every week! From informative meetings with a psychologist for expectant mothers to outdoor reading sessions, the month is brimming with opportunities for learning and connection. We can’t wait to see everyone join us for some magical mayhem this November!
**Editor:** Sounds like an incredible experience waiting to happen. Thank you for your time, Maria, and best of luck with the November events!
**Maria:** Thank you! We’re excited to welcome everyone!
