Latinos with Kamala: Large advantage for the Democrat in 7 key states

NEW YORK (EFE).— The Democratic candidate for the White House, Kamala Harris, leads the Republican Donald Trump among Latino voters in the seven key states, of which she would get 56% of the votes, compared to the 31% she would get the former president, according to a survey published yesterday Tuesday.

The survey by the Hispanic Federation and Latino Victory Foundation revealed that the Democrat’s candidacy has aroused enthusiasm among Hispanics in key states, a population sector in which she maintains an advantage of more than 25 points over Trump.

In this way, the survey, published three weeks before the elections, reveals that Kamala is in front in each of the seven pivotal states, with a percentage of favorability in each state of between 58% and 54%.

In Pennsylvania, one of the key states, Kamala would win 57% of the Latino vote, compared to Trump’s 27%.

The results also show that 71% of Latino voters plan to vote, especially those who live in key states such as Michigan and Pennsylvania.

In addition, 74% say they are closely following the news about the November 5 elections.

“Our hope is that with this survey we can reframe the way the power of Latino voters is perceived, both at the national and state level. However, the most important thing is that we help our own community get to the polls,” said the president of the federation, Frankie Miranda, yesterday at a press conference held in Pennsylvania.

Miranda highlighted that the results “confirm that Latinos are listening and care about the upcoming elections.”

New enthusiasm

The survey, which was carried out between October 2 and 10 with a sample of 1,900 Latinos, shows that 60% of those interviewed are more interested in voting in the elections after the arrival of Kamala Harris.

**Juan Morales:** Thank⁢ you for ⁢having me. Several factors are at play ⁤here.‌ First, Kamala Harris has made significant efforts to engage⁢ with Latino communities, highlighting issues that resonate with them, such as immigration reform, healthcare, and economic ⁣opportunities.
