**Editor:** What exactly do you mean by “controlled closures”?

**Officer Torres:** Good question! We’ll be closing certain lanes on specific roads to facilitate the ⁢runners. However, we won’t completely block any roads. For instance,⁣ on Las Mercedes’ main avenue,‌ two lanes will be reserved for runners, while two ⁤lanes will remain open for vehicles. This way, we can maintain a flow of traffic while ensuring⁣ the safety of participants.

**Editor:** That sounds well-organized.⁤ Could you ‌share the specific routes where these closures will take ⁢place?

**Officer Torres:** Absolutely! Runners will be using several roads,‌ including Las Mercedes’ main avenue, La Guairita Avenue, ‍and Río de Janeiro Avenue, among others. Each of these will have designated ⁢lanes for both runners ⁢and vehicles to ensure everyone’s safety.

**Editor:** What kind of participation are you expecting? Are there specific⁤ categories for runners?

**Officer ‌Torres:**‌ We anticipate a great turnout. There are seven⁤ competition categories for both⁣ male and⁢ female runners, ranging from youth ages 16-19⁣ to seniors aged 70-99. This wide range ⁢encourages participation from various age groups.

**Editor:** What about the starting point for the⁣ race?

**Officer Torres:** The⁢ race will start and end at La⁣ Trinidad Avenue, ⁢between Paris Street and London Street,⁤ right across‍ from Alfredo Sadel Square in Las‌ Mercedes.⁢

**Editor:** Sounds great! Is there anything else ⁣you’d like the public to know?

**Officer ⁤Torres:** ‌We⁤ encourage everyone to participate or come out ⁤to support the runners. And please be mindful of the traffic changes as we‌ approach the ⁣event. Thank you for your support!

**Editor:** Thank you, ⁢Officer Torres! We appreciate your insight and wish you all the best for ⁢the event!
